Wasn’t sure where to place this but wanted to share a simple warning of my mess up on over watering seedlings.

I over watered the very first day they were put into 5 gallon smartpots. That was April 9 and it took until 2 days ago for them to “start” to recover. Still on shaky grounds until I see a few more leaves. April 15 morning I arrive to slumped over GWK and SODK. Panic set in. Do I pull? Hell no. Am I wasting my time waiting for them to recover? Possibly.

What I changed this round:
No perlite addition and under autocobs.

What I’ve noticed? Medium stays moist way too long; no heat build up meaning low 70s and can’t get into the 80s...odd seasonal swings right now in my world. . Not conducive to great growing conditions with over moist soil and lack of higher temps.

Medium is exact same as previous grows but decided against adding perlite. 1/2 Fox farms, 1/2 happy frog, dash of worm castings and topped with mosquito bits. NO PERLITE!! Doh!

What I’ve done to correct?
Turned power hungry CMH back on; let soil go almost completely dry and just last night fed 2 grams of MC 2.0 to gallon of water split between both.

Since turning CMH back on, temps in low to mid 80s and girls are starting to perk up. Still sketchy few days ahead.

Y’all have good one!

Ideally you want the pot to dry well in soil before next watering. When I was in soil, it was not unusual for me to have 5 or 6 days between watering.

Right on. I knew better but got in a hurry!
