No flower auto

I need a few opinions/advice please. These are supposed to be bio diesel mass autoflower which have a 65-70 day life from seed to harvest. These are now day 37 at 18/6 with no sign of flower. They are extremely healthy but There’s clearly a problem but what is it? Not auto flowers? Maybe a late flowering strain of auto flower? Should I flip the lights to 12/12 and treat as photos? If I do and they are autos will that affect them? Any advice is appreciated. The other problem is space that’s why autos were my preference

Some strains just get freaky!

I have a plant at a little over 60 days and it still has a way to go. The buds are just now starting to swell. The strain is either Northern Lights Auto or Blue Cheese Auto (I got seeds mixed up) and both of these strains from what I have read should be finishing very soon, but this pheno whatever strain it is has several weeks to a month maybe more left on my opinion so we'll see.

I had issues with my light and it got pretty tall for my grow area and maybe that affected the growth/maturity time, but it's getting pretty stinky and I'm thinking it may be some premo bud, so it's worth the wait.

We have come such a long way since my first foray into growing cannabis indoors. I would budget 5 or 6 months to harvest and was tickled pink to get 3 ounces of sensimilla per plant. Bag seed is what we had for genetics, although it was from a good strain, Panama Red, Acapulco Gold, Michoacan etc. Then I get a straight career and 30 years goes whizzing by and we have Autoflowering Cannabis done from seed to harvest 75 days with 5 oz. per plant! Cha ching! Trust me it is the Dabs . It took me so long to type this I forgot where I was going with it .

Oh yeah, each seed is a genetic original. You do not know what you will get even from the best breeders pheno anomalies happen. So you may enjoy watching you plants grow more without preconceived ideas of what they should be and just watch what they are. They really are quite beautiful.

I agree, I grew some pretty good shit in the 80s all from bag seed.
In those days, seeds in your bud was the norm at least in my area and you started them in April and transplanted outside to your site (cornfield) in mid to late May and then just watered when a dry spell came along.
I write that for the young pups out there who may have only smoked or grown Auto's. And not had to wait an entire summer until harvest!
Damn, I'm glad folks developed the Auto flowering strains we have today.

I’m counting from day they “sprouted”, I’m using viparspectra 600w (true wattage 132). Conditions have been perfect, food, pH, EC, Temp,Humidity and flow in/out all perfect and plants are loving life. The size of the leaves is ridiculous

Haha that would be ok if I had the space, another question is if they are autos and I flip to 12/12 to start the flowering can I then put them back to 18/6 or leave at 12/12 and treat as photos? Really important because I want to use the same room to start off seedlings to get a couple of weeks head start on next batch. Obviously can’t do that if 12/12. Again any help is appreciated. Has anyone been in this position?
