18 day old Auto in living soil. From what I gathered it seems to be Nitrogen tox?

Hey bud, is it TLO you made from scratch or a add-in mix?
Aside from her being very compact, that little bit of tip hook isn't a solid sign of N-tox, but that's what it looks like... Her color seems OK, not deep green,... that said it's certainly possible, and in a rich TLO soil, you have nothing you can do about it anyway.... see what a week brings  ...
I mixed my KIS Organics nutrient pack mix too rich, and they all got toasty tips early on but turned out just fine!

Yeah this was made from a recipe I found online. Thank you so much for the response and info! I will give it some time and see what happens. I was thinking she was super compact. I just assumed it was her indica traits. What can cause this growth?

What lights are you using, and how close? Spectrum and proximity play roles in internodal spacing,... some pheno's can just be more compact too, or stay squat until they spring up during stretch...

How deep is that hydroton layer? Not a factor here, but a lot of weight can potentially compact the soil and restrict good "breathing"... Roots need O2...
A shallow layer is Ok though...

Mars Hydro ts1000 at 20". The hydroton layer is only a single layer.
