Name: ShortRyder
Strain: Hybrid mix of Top 44, Early Special and Siberian Cannabis Ruderalis.
Did it autoflower?: yes in 28 days.
Soil/hydro: Soil Plain EarthGro potting soil mixed 50/50 with perlite.
Nutes: Soiltabs for Vegetation and Flowertabs for flowering
Description: Simply inserted into soil and watered with avg 6.5 ph as needed determined by pot weight for 4 weeks repeated with Flowertab until cleansing.
Light: Vegetation, 2 -125w Tophat full spectrum CFLs run @ 24 hours
Flowering 2 -125w red+ spectrum CFLs run @ 20/4 cycle.
Flowering, 1 - 15w UVB CFL run @ 6/18 cycle.
From seed to harvest date: 91 days This is consistent with my other Shortryder run under the same 250w CFLs.
Dry Yield: 51g
High/Effect Duration: The initial dose brings on a warm body numbness that pleasantly starts in the arms and legs and engulfs the whole body. The stoney cerebral effect heightens the relaxing sensation and while of course not causing disabling intoxication it is not a medication that I would use while driving. An occasional cough usually brings on a moment of body and head rush . It is very conducive for sleep
Of all the plants I've grown so far, including several Photos , this is the most potent.
RATE SCALE: * to ***** good
BAG APPEAL: In fairness I cannot rate this category as such. I only grow for myself and don't manicure to the proper normal requirements. If its frosty, it stays and these buds and attached leaves are very frosty and dense.
THE GROWTH: *****
Description: Huge initial true leaves as big as my spread hand or bigger. This plant topped out at 22" with the side branches growing out of the shaded areas nicely without LST or other manipulation although the procedures probably would have increased yeild. My first grow with Tabs, I wanted to see them perform on their own.
THE SMELL: *****
Description: I gave five stars for the lack of smell until just before harvest as well as the manageable skunky smell at the end which just gets stronger in the jar.
THE SMOKE: *****
The unusual taste of the first toke on mid range vape settings is surprisingly closer to a Diesel taste rather than fruity. Its very smooth.
THE HIGH: *****
Medicinal value. I won't rate this in stars because this strain is not considered medical and I won't be misleading.. But, it absolutely stops my breakthrough head, hands and feet tremors from a nerve disorder associated with Parkinsons that no other medicine even touches including opiates and the dopa-mine agonist that effectively relieves the actual disease .
I will definitely grow Nirvana Shortryder again. It is a lot of fun and very rewarding.:tiphat:
