New Grower Nirvana auto Blue Mystic + LED

Week nine ... Max temp 90*
(I no longer look at minimum temp since it always happens the twice a week I run the air)

Plant has 2-3 weeks left ... I may feed her once more but today I used straight RO water ... This plant is a testament to the amount of abuse and number of mistakes that a Blue Mystic can survive ... I recommend this plant for anyone ... they generally look a lot better than this ... showing minor frosting w/ some stickiness and trichs are clouding up ... buds look like they are gonna be small but tight ...

looks like she's sitting on Gumbys lap.

That LST sure gives the bottom a jump start.
Looking good.

I'm very satisfied w/ the results of 'Pony tailing' the center ... this one's center cola got away from me early when I goofed up and left the red light switch off for three days and she started to stretch ... I ended up tying down the top ... I think this one would have been over 36" tall if I had let it run ... Every day counts in the life of a young auto ... the effects of that three day mistake early on are noticeable.

Man, it still looks awesome for a plant that can't be mended and watched everyday, so I'd say this is a great success given the variables!!!!! Cheers!!

Any credit belongs completely to the Nirvana Blue Mystic genetics ... they're a tough plant ... just the heat alone should have done this one in but combined w/ me screwing up their feed at the worst possible time it's a wonder this one made it past five weeks ... Soil tab sure did a nice job during the Veg phase ... I expected heat problems when I started this grow but I also anticipated higher temperatures ... during June and July we had daily afternoon storms that helped to keep temperatures in check at normally the hottest part of the day ... afternoon storms have ended ... I'm sure the grow space is 88*-90*+ about 20 hrs a day ... Originally I had considered moving it outdoors at about 5 weeks and it would have done well had I made the effort to find a spot for it ... would have been watered daily by rain right up to about a month before harvest ... now just hot and sunny ... I had considered using a double 3 gal pot method to plunge it in the sunniest garden but I would have had to move it indoors on the weekends as we have a yard guy that would spot it ... actually if I had a light going indoors that sounds like a pretty good idea ... maybe next year.

Here's a couple of pics for 9.5 weeks ... temps have pretty much topped out at 90* in the grow space and it's never below 85* ... when I use this space this winter, I think the results will be a little better. Fed her RO water w/ a 1/4 tsp Hawaiian Bud and 1/2 tsp Cal/Mag ... soil ph a nice steady 6.4 ... This was the last feed ... the cleanse starts in a couple days ... I read on here that plants produce more resin when the air is drier ... could explain why my plants don't frost as well in this closet since the rh is usually 65-70% ...

All in all I'd say it will prove to have been worth the effort ... :tiphat:
