New Grower Newbie

I have harvested 2 of the NL girls, one at 11 weeks and the other at 12 weeks. Drying and jaring . One of the girls really looked amazing

This turned out to be a lousy grow report :D All the plants are harvested, dryed and cured. But no pics of it. But I was airing one of the jars and did se some brown drops on the buds. It smells like cannabis and is like syrup. What is it? Overproduction of thc? It's just buds of one plant that is like that, the plant was really strange. It did not grow as much as the others and was ready in just 7 weeks and all the others took 10 to 11 weeks.

Thanks for the answer @archie gemmill
I have a other newbie question. When do I start counting that the plant is flowering, now I start a week or two after I see the first preflowers but that means my plants veg for 5 weeks and then flower for 10 to 11 weeks. Is this wrong?

This plant is now 14 weeks today and have been flowering for 9 weeks after my way to count.
I feel it looks ready and I let them flower to long.

thats a bit of a trick question @Kaosgarden :pass:no right or wrong answer.photoperiod growers count veg/flower seperately as they physically have to flick the switch 12/12.technically autos veg and flower is overlapped,we cant easily define when veg stops and flower starts.
autoflower growers typically just count the total days to harvest.most will make a note of preflower/flower dates.some switch to flower nutes at preflower, some switch 7-10 days after, and some dont switch to flower nutes till vertical growth stops, several lines of thought.
the 7 week pheno was more typical of an auto, the 14 week strains are them strange extra long autos that pop up from time to time.when we get a strange pheno day counts and breeder times goes out the window and we just wait for the trichs to mature and cut accordingly.
i think Rollin along had a northern lights that went 150 days,90% of autos should finish 70-80 days.
finished up lovely autumn colours and that under leaf frost :yoinks:
real nice growing
