Hi Guys I've been lurking on the forum for a while.Wanted to make sure I knew as much as possible before trying an indoor grow. I believe I screwed up before the 1 seed Im going to try and grow was in the soil.I have FoxFarm Ocean Forest in a 3 gallon pot.2 days ago I planted 1 seed of Northern Lights autoflower. I realized a day after that I believe I should have watered the soil a good bit then let it dry some before planting ? The soil felt extremely moist in the bag. Should i get the seed out or see what happens? Ive been putting a small amount of water around the edges and misting lightly twice a day over seed? Sorry for the rambling .Be gentle its my 1st Grow and 1st post

I start mine about the same way now with no problems. Somebody more experienced will comment the only thing I see is everyone says ocean Forest is too hot for seedlings

not sure on the soil. But the planting method is fine haha there not fairy princesses that only drink unicorn piss ;) the idea in nature is the same as what you have done ,waits till is rains seed gets moist temps are right and wammo ;)

Thanks I'll keep going forward with it. I need to learn patience. Its only been 48 hours lol.

Hey @Green4Me welcome and congrats on the plunge. Your method is sound. I would just be careful not to over water. 250ml straight down the taproot is plenty for a few days. If you can rig up a humidity dome with the bottom of a clear plastic bottle, a few holes poked through it, mist it and cover. That would keep you from having to constantly spritz and keeps humidity in check.

Good luck and peace

Hi . I have a clear plastic bottle over it.No holes though.I'll put some in now. Thanks Much!

Not sure how important the holes are. Some do it, some don't. I do it for oxygen.
Got any pics? Everyone loves pics. If you decide to do a journal I will follow. Just tag me like this @Yeatster.

I use the top third out of a plastic pop bottle for a humidity Dome I don't put any holes in it but just because I never heard I was supposed to it seems to be working.

They need oxygen supply/breathe! Do not suffocate them.
