I have a 3x3 grow space about 5' high. I have 2-250w cfl grow lights with reflectors, one bulb is 2700k and the other is 6500k. I plan on using 5 gal. buckets with soil. I can fit 6 buckets inside my space. I'm going to grow thc bomb autos. Is 6 plants too many for my space? Should I go with 4 and scrog? Do I have enough light and is it good to use both 2700 and 6500 spectrums together throughout the grow? Thanks ahead for any information and your time.

Yeaa, i wouldn't do 6 plants in there. Especially in 5 gallon buckets. In 5 gallons, they're liable to get pretty massive. IDK if this is your first grow or not, but if it is, IMO, I wouldn't bother with scrogging right now, either. Get to know your plants first and get the hang of growing, prior to starting any type of training. Because, again - IMO - you're more likely to mess something up trying 2 new things at once.

As for your CFLs....I'm not opposed to them (though you'll find many growers are)....and they are grow lights, correct, not regular bulbs? IE- The actual wattage is 250...I found this on Roll It Up -
If it's one of those horticulture bulbs/grow bulbs, then the 250w is actual wattage. They don't state the equivalent to incandescent on the box. If it's the big 250w bulb you get from Home Depot or where ever, then the actual wattage is something like 48w. Home Depot also sells a 300w cfl that is 64 actual wattss.
edit: You'll know if it's the grow bulb because it won't fit in a regular socket.

So 250 ACTUAL watts, should be adequate for 2-3 plants. If youre gonna use BOTH 2700 & 6500 for a total of 500 watts, you could mayyyybe get away with 6...(but you have to remember that a(n) HID has much more light penetration than CFL. So you're going to need to supplement side lighting to ensure that all of your girls are getting the proper amount of light they need.)

HOWEVER. If you've got one of those big home depot bulbs like the quote from RIU says, then no. no, you don't have enough light lol
