Distance anyone from canapoy ? Lmk never had one these

So I looked up the specs on the sp4000. Looks like if you use the dimmer 30-32 inches at 50% power for seedlings. 26-28 inches at 75% power for veg. 16-18 inches 100% power for flower. It also says you can run it full power from start to finish. It was pretty vague on the heights though.

This how far it is now the leaves are going down maybe I should move it up it’s about 24 inches right now max output

So if it’s at 100% power for veg it shouldn’t be 26-28 at 75 so 100% would be like 34-36 idk

It looks like they left that part for you to decide. I have a 600 watt light that I start out at fourty inches. Then I'll raise it once it gets to the lowest recomended height(On yours it'll be 16-18 inches) back to say maybe 26- 30 inches. Once theyre fully in flower keep it at 16-18.

I think you'll be safe in veg at 26-28 at 100%
Id rather hit them with a tad more than they need then less. Helps keep them from stretching to much. Are you growing autos or photos. My experience is only with autos.

Rookie here with a 630w 4x4 wondering if you’re aprox 40” with seedling/sprouts at 100% until you raise it? If so what is the recommended lowest height that you mentioned? And I’m assuming it stays there until you’re maintaining your 16-18 for flower? Sorry for the questions man but I can’t find anything suggestive to go by besides the ppfd chart shown for 24” distance. I know nothing is concrete but hearing what at least one guy is doing successfully with my wattage would be a great starting point. First grow happening while I’m learning so I can see affects of mistakes etc. Im in coco so at the same time I’m trying to find a nute schedule to go by. Thanks for any advice.

I tagged you in one of my grows. Both 5x5s I run have 600+ watts each. I run 24 hr light from start to finish(autos) I start seedlings out at 40 inches 100% power and let them grow to the light. When they get to close for comfort(18-24 inches) I raise it back up to 30-32inches. So on autoflowers I wont have to raise the lights for 3-4 weeks from seedling. By week 5 im in flower and trying to maintain the 18-24 inches. Sometimes further depending on how sensitive they are to light.
