Hey everyone how's it going??
So I chopped down my last 2 autos about 2 weeks ago and haven't started any seeds until now. Riu is where i started out back in 08, fyi. I haven't had a journal in a few months so I'm excited to get another one going. I want to start off the journal by saying, please feel free to ask any questions or leave any comments. My goal for this grow is to really test out my new system. I went from only doing a pc case to now having a pc case for seedlings/veg and a stealth dresser with charcoal filter, cool tube, 150w hps and a few cfl for mixed spectrum. The pc case has 1 125w 6500k and 2 23w bulbs for side penetration. Entire case is lined in panda film. 2 intakes one exhaust straight out the top. I plan to start 2 seeds for starting out and to start a new seed once every 3-4 weeks. My grow medium will be ffof soil. I will be using general hydroponics flora nova grow and flora nova bloom as my main nutes. I will supplemental feed with hygrozyme, cal/mag, and maybe a few others. The pots i will be using are 2.75 liter squares. Here are some pics of the supplies and grow areas. i have grown over 14 or so autos in the past with some decent and some crappy yields, so im hoping tone my auto skills. Ive been growing since 08 so i have a very good grasp on what is what and what plants needs are, guess im saying im no novice.

The flower box has passive intake. I plan to cut out the three circle intake holes to 2" once I do that I plan to fit a 4-6" piece of pvc in each hole with a 90 degree elbow up top. Each piece of pvc will be spray painted black to eliminate light leaking out from under the dresser. In case anyone is wondering, the ballast is mounted upside down beneath the flooring on the bottom side of the box. I also plan to add an oscillating fan to the right side wall of the box to keep the air moving.
so with all that said I bet you're wondering what strain?? I am starting off with 2 purple jem auto seeds. my homie, some of you may know him from riu and has since moved to autoflower.net, micro.grower. Cant thank him enough. very cool dude for sure. I have 2 seeds germing at the moment and will post an update once they get put into the soil.
