Welcome its420dude
Hi dude ^_^ Welcome to the forums!
I'll try and answer a couple of those questions you put up buddy
1) The little white bits are most likely perlite - that's a good thing, helps drainage and keeps the soil mix light and airy which autoflowers really like! Alot of us will add even MORE perlite just to make it even lighter!
2) When you say you sowed it tap root down - i guess this means you already germed it with the paper towel method (otherwise you wouldn't have seen the tap root ^_^) .. 4cm down seems a bit deep to me. I usually just poke a pen in the top of my soil (2-3mm down) drop the seed in (i germ direct to soil), and then just sprinkle lightly https://www.autoflower.org/members/its420dude.htmlsome soil on top and stick the top half of a coke bottle on top for some humidity to get the little one going!
3) It's in the garden already
Not sure how warm it is in your area, but usually i think people recommend they're started indoors and then moved on when they're a bit stronger - I've personally never done out doors so can't confirm this for sure, i just think that's what i've read.
Edit: I've just seen your temperature range at the bottom of the post.
I think it's a bit nippy for them to survive or at least thrive in those temps - I think indoor or a climate controllable greenhouse will be much better.
Just my thoughts. Glad you made it here!
All the best
