New grower, tips or advice for my grow plan?

Final bit of advice: the majority of “advice” on Reddit is crap. Listen to the folks here and you’ll do ok. This is the best cannabis group on the Internet.
Word.

What @DDubs said is 100% accurate: get a GOOD pH meter. Apera pH60 is what I bought. Very happy with it. Be sure to buy extra calibration liquid and storage solution, too.

The costs really add up at first, but you’ll “pay” far more down the road any time you cut corners.

This really is a great hobby. Avoid as many preventable pitfalls as you can so you can maximize the fun (and yield!).

Will head to amazon right now, I bought a cheapy for 15 dollars with good reviews but thats getting returned now. Btw are you a soil guy? Im trying to figure out dry vs watered weight of a pot to know when to water, I want to do this before dropping a seedling in. Can i do this days before dropping a germinated seed in and just let it sit under light to dry a bit?

Only thing I might add (and you may not need it) is an Inkbird RH controller for your humidifier. I have noticed much stronger grows when I dial in VPD (although you may be able manipulate RH with the cloudline fan to an extent as well). Happy growing!

Bluelab makes solid meters as well.

Yep, I use Happy Frog (plus perlite). I usually soak my pots the day before I put the plant in. I soak seeds x24hrs then start in jiffy pellets; once it’s sprouted and a root pokes out, I plant the jiffy pellet (minus carefully-removed netting) into pre-soaked 4” pot of HF soil. I’ll up-pot to a 3- or 5-gallon fabric pot depending on strain once it’s ready (based on leaf growth). I’ve got a few years of “traditional“ gardening experience and have seen the benefits of up-potting plants. A lot of people just start in the final pot which is simpler for new growers.
