Love the Mylar on top of the dwc buckets i might have to do that! Your roots look fantastic! How do you go about, from clone to putting it into your dwc pot? Curious how others do it

This was actually sprouted from a seed. And I did it in 1.5 inch Rockwool cubes. And it just depends on what medium your clones come planted in. Like with this grow if I could restart. I would put the 1.5 inch cube into a 4 inch cube before putting it in the Dwc

For what reason would that be?

Hi Jimmy welcome to AFN. Tag me if you have any questions.

The low profile of that Afghan Skunk Auto may be due to genetics don't worry it will grow.

I have grown DWC many times. I have never run GH nutrients. I have run Dyna-Gro, House & Garden and Cana. A couple of things that may help would be to keep the light from reaching into the reservoir and use Botanicare HydroGuard. I cannot over-stress the value of HydroGuard. I would not run a DWC without it. These are some pictures of my last DWC:

Hey bro. Should I top or fim this plant? Or just let it go? It’s the only plant in the tent

It is a little late to top that auto? usually you want to top an auto from day 14 through 21 so they have time to veg before flowering starts. What you can do is LST - low stress training by gently tying the branches to open the canopy to the light. If the central cola gets too tall just be more aggressive with tying it down. The idea is to keep the canopy level to the light so all branches get light evenly. This will encourage the colas to grow bigger. @autobeast has a whole thread dedicated to topping autos which is a great read - very informative.

Day 30! Water change day! Still no sign of flower so went with another week of veg regiment. Ppm at 1200. Ph at 5.5. Roots are looking nice and healthy. The brown I came across was nutes. I was able to spray them off with my sprayer and RO water. Plant is looking great. Should be flowering really soon. Do you guys think I should change to 12-12. Or wait till it starts to show signs of buds since it’s an auto?
