New Auto "Super Silver Haze" on the way

Have you checked your PH in and out? MY well water is 9.55 and if I give that to just about any 6+ week flowering plant they will nanner up. almost instantly its very stressfull.

Been wondering myself, Kind of bummed not knowing for sure what the cause is be it genetics or a stress...
We'll find out soon enough...

I wish it was that simple Cres, I know it isn't the PH, the tap water comes out at 6.9-7, and after nutes, needs very little adjustment to hit 6.6-6.7. Also there is no indication of lockout or burn.... These plants have had very little stress at all besides the dry out when I was gone; my Plushberry plants outside were pretty much tortured with hot spells and drying out every day in the middle of summer, also light pollution like crazy; there was never a hermie issue with them though, so unfortunately I'm thinking that this cross may be really easy to stress out.... The good news is that the breeder female hasn't shown any balls and is producing nice big seeds for ya to play with. I like the way this strain grows, very foxtaily, it would be a shame to kill the project....

The thing to do is just kill all hermi's that show (hopefully there will be no more) I'm not worried about the Thai Haze because I've grown enough of them to have a pretty good idea that there is no hermi issue... The Phaze is what I am mostly worried about because I haven't had the time to grow many of them at all but no hermi's still though I only grew 3 so far...

What I suggest is watching the breeder and if she stays true then I feel that should kill the issue mostly if not entirely...
I can say with hardly no doubt that the Thai Haze will stay true and shouldn't hermi naturally, They can handle some stress too... Also they will grow branches that turn to little buds rite in the inter-node of the plant that people don't recognize and will sometimes mistake them for anything other than just a branch...

Yeah I've been culling plats as they show... I have a feeling that the Thaipan 2.0 in the Thai 47 is throwing the hermies at me because of a little bit of stress, and the fact they are being grown at 12/12 and not getting as much light as possible... I have faith that if I grew them like autos they would not have hermied on me, the good thing is that the pollen does not seem viable from the first to show nanners... The rest of the crop has remained unseeded and the mom has not hermied at all, and I agree that if she remains true the hermie issue will at least diminish if not go away...

Still trying to put together a good pic compilation of the PHaze from my phone but I may just end up buying a new card for the camera, trouble is I'm broke... :(

Well been one thing after another with being sick and other shitty circumstances since getting home from vacation.... Time for some good news and an update!

Got some nice pics with my phone as the camera is not cooperating with the memory card... I love the PHaze-47 bud structure, lots of foxtailing, curly and sharp looking hairs spitting out of very bright green and frosty calyxes!:

Grabbed a couple of shots of the lagging (cause of the 12/12 lighting) Thai haze 47...:

So hopefully I'll get my camera figured out so I don't have to spend money on a new card or camera, when that happens the updates will flow more easily.....

Take care y'all! :howdy:

Your ladies are looking great surffreak

Well unfortunately all but a couple of the PHaze went hermie on me (not the mom though) and I am going to have to abort this project in favor of stocking up on meds... just threw everything into a 48 hr dark period and I'll take what I can get.... I'm super bummed about all this, as the strain as a cross has real potential! Thank you all who followed along to this point, gonna get some new genetics up and running.....

:peace:
