New Grower Never grower! Need some advice.

Hi guys.. great atmosphere on here btw! Looking for some guidance.

Im going to start on a grow in the next week or so im just in 2 minds of the cf and light.

Ive got a 80cmx80cmx160cm tent
4x fabric pots
Biobizz light mix & perlite
Bio bizz bloom, grow, topmax
Ill be buying the timer ans bits and bobs with the light and cf.

My question is whats efficient enough for my tent? I was thinking on a rhino hobby cf and rhino fan (5") with isulated ducting and i will be growing under a hps. I was thinking 400w with a cooltube but im unsure on the cooltube... i will be growing mephisto, have a lot of different seeds from the sale! Will i be expecting the sound of an airport in my spare room? Thanks guys!

4-5" cf and fan is plenty for that space.

Indeed you may not need to run it until later in your grow, just make sure you have good airflow and in tent circulation!

I was going to add a couple small fans around the tent to circulate the air... do you think a cooltube would be necessary? How loud are they do yoy know? Trying to keep the misses on board with it lol

Cool tube are fantastic, but your average environment would be helpful, if you have a colder year round climate, you may want to forgo the cool tube to make use of the heat...otherwise cool tube all the way.

The room the tent is in, is sitting around 16-22c. I guess ill just have to buy the light and cf kit then see what the enviroment is sitting at inside the tent. Im just worried the cooltube would be too big in a 80cmx80cmx160cm tent with the ducting and cf.

600w hps cool tube seem to be about 24" long, and your tent is 31ish... so about 7 inches, minus ducting. Sounds like it might be a bit of a tight fit.

Is that the same for a 400w? Feel like im jumping over hurdles to get this all set up right.

I would assume, that even in same wattage, sizes may differ by manufacturer. Best thing I could tell ya is to start looking thru the specifications for something of the appropriate length. You can also hang the light on the diagnal, corner to corner... it'd fit no problem then. We all seem to do it a little different, and still pull some great nugs. Getting set up and started is rough, but you'll work into your own style soon enough!
