I am a perpetual grower. That means that I got babies right in with the budding females. When a plant is finished another baby goes in the tank to replace it. My nuits and lights are always the same. My nuits are 15-30-15. More Bloom - Ultra Bloom. I think for my purpose it works really well. It vegs and grows stocks really well and they really put on the roots with the high middle number. I don't add any bloom booster stuff. I once added molases but I didn't get more blooms all I got was ants so I quit that. I do add Cal/mag supplement. I like to keep my pH down around 6.0 and I just use plain store white vinigar to do that. Simple is my moto and I am a well proven cheapskate.

Lights are the same thing all the time CFLs Globe, model 45 watts, 4100K, 3,000 lumen jobs. I am thing of adding some LEDs cause everyone at the breeders club is now useing the combination of CFL and LED wiith great success. I am going to start off with those 11" circular 90 watt Blackstar and just add them to the rack cause they fit without rebuilding it. I will add them to one end first and just see if they help before I do the whole rack. I so wish I had a par meter. But Christmas has past and I don't have one sob sob. Anyone out there tried those little 90 watter LEDs?
