Indoor Nelson's SOG, CFL, Bubbly tank grow.

Well the LED seems to have improved the look of the plants where it is supplementing the CFLs I think it should be mounted a little higher up so by the weekend I have to make a simple hanging assembly so it can be moved up and down on the main rack till I get a feel for the height it should be at. Pictures tomorrom. I put 3 skullryders in the pool and until either some males show up or something doesn't auto the pool is totally full. It is always fun to see all the holes filled. The pool is starting to smell like bud and I don't even have anything stinky in there at the moment.

It is all running on the one circuit now but when I have the need to add a second circuit to power the lights I will take pictures and post it on here. Not a problem.

P2130003.jpgI raised the LED up about 3 inches so it is more in line with the bottoms of the CFLs. I had my wife take a picture of it glowing away in the light rack. It is 150 watts more light on the rack. I am considering adding three more LEDs to the rack if this one continues to perform well. One in each of the four corners.

looking great nelson, looks like youre gonna be completely perpetual again, way to go bro:thumbs:

Hey thanks man. It might not be too permanent cause I am considering shutting the bubbly tank down for July and August the hot months and just growing outside and on my balcony. Certainly not taking any reservations for the tank for those months anyway.

I wanted to pay a complement to Wiz for his Jems. They work extreely well in my bubbly tank, They are just the right size and seem to like the nuits they are getting and the light. They are budding up nicely and should produce for me. They are starting to stink and get sticky always a good sign. I hope they smoke as good as they look. Harvest starts in 3 weeks my guess. I will be planting some more autos as more males show from the replant of a month ago and I will probably plant more Jems to replace the ones being harvested. This is the last of males in the tank from Sept 1 they will all be femmed or they won't go in. Males are just a pain in the ass and not very productive to waisew time on. They are the best way to improve yield just get rid of them unless they are part of your breeding plans.

I am going to pull two out of the tank this weekend. One is a Jem and the other Dr. Feelgood. They are coming out of the tank and into a bucket for a flush and then I will dry them and give them a smoke test after a fast paper bag cure. Curiosity has the best of me. Gup there are two waiting to go into the bubbly tank gotta make some room as I have a full tank at the moment.

Can't wait to hear what you think of the Dr. Feelgood. Looks like it could be a great med strain.

easy ryder

I've grown Cobra a couple times and they were all single cola, decent effect, and fruity smelling buds... not the biggest yield, though. (To be honest, my simple grow techniques do not bring out the best, yield-wise)

I'm also trying to work more toward a "single cola" pheno to get the most out of my situation. There are some very promising candidates among the Dragons, based on my first try with them. Bad Betty is another one of Wiz's that seems to be inclined toward a single cola structure. The one I grew was, and every one I've seen a pic of has been... very nice "up" effect on the Bad Betty... with a similar yield to that of the Cobra. I have a couple more I'm working on, as well... just for my own purposes.

If I trip over something that works for me, I'll give you a shout. :peace:
Whats UP Joe!

I'm gonna give it the fast paper bag dry. She will be flushing in a pail of water tomorrow and Friday clipped Saturday and should have the review on it by middle of next week.

Just clipped both the Dr. Feelgood and the Jem 1/2 an hour ago. Both gave up about 1/2 oz when dried my guess. Normal yield for my tank. The Jem was a lot stickier and a lot more smell. Should make Tuesday as road test day. they are now getting the fast paper bag dry on the rack above my woodstove.
