Need some advice

@Cobain420 You should not need any additional Calcium for the entire grow with the Dolomite Lime in the Pro Mix. You probably did not need to fertilize at all for the first week and then start with 50% strength BALANCED nutrients on every 3rd or 4th watering. Please read this about balanced nutrients.

I wondered about this myself. I would also think that zero calcium would be needed on account of the dolomite, but when I asked Pro-Mix tech. support directly they recommended to start supplementing calcium after the 10th day :wall:.

Anyhow, I'm inclined to trust @Mañ'O'Green here on this, and his reputation speaks for himself. Might be best to throw the cal-mag in the garbage! :crying:

Remember….autos are different, and it seems folks on this site are about the only ones to trust when it comes to learning what they need. I would imagine IF their tech had any cannabis experience, it’s more than likely with photos.

Like I said, I’ve been growing in pro mix for several years now….I do find the need to supplement calmg….but not usually until they enter flower. Again, just throwing my opinion into the ring here….

When determining the need for calcium the first thing you need to look at is your water source. Some tap water will have more than enough some can have very little. Then look at what is in the soil. Then most fertilizers contain some. You have to add all of that up to see how much you are getting. It is my experience here that only about 1 out of 50 growers will need extra.

So you

Don't think that the whitening is cal/mag def?

I don't think you have anything to worry about but you need to post better pictures in focus. Fresh soil can be too hot for seedlings and often they will have a funny looking start. Just give them a healthy dose of LITFA.
