Hello all. Finishing up my first grow (3) and it’s went pretty well I think. Hopefully will end up with 4 ounces of good bud. 2-4 more weeks to go.

Starting to plan my 2nd grow. I have some Do Si Dos, Mokum,s Tulip, Tangerine Dream and Northern Lights on the way (all autos). I also have a Ayuasca Purple and 3 other fem photos.

———————

I am working with (2) 250W Viparspectra lights in a 4x5” closet. Trying to grow 2 photos and 2 autos at the same time.Vegging the photos while the autos are getting most of the direct light on an 18/6 schedule, then going 12/12 at some point after the autos finish up and are out of the way.

ShouId I stagger the start times with these? Wait a month or so after the autos or start at the same time? I don’t want the photos to completely get out of control until the time is right. I would love to do a 4a and 2p but it gets crowded with limited access and I’m not sure there is enough light for that. I think my set up is much better suited for one flowering plant under each light, but I’m pretty new to all this. Still figuring it out.

TIA!:smoking:

Ok, Did a little more reading and I think II have a rough plan.

Start the 2 autos (total life approx 11 weeks) and around week 6 start the photos. By the time the autos are done, photos will be around week 4-5. Veg those for another 2-3 weeks, then flip to 12/12 and flower for another 6-8 weeks?

Does this sound reasonable/doable?

Would the photos get too big in 4-5 weeks?

Space is not that big of a factor, unless the photos get too big too fast. Adequate light for maximum yield is more of a factory I think.

One 250W is adequate for one good sized photo, correct?

Would love to here from someone who has done this.

You can definitely keep the photos at a reasonable size through topping and training.
