New Grower Need help with my first grow...

DAY 90

Hello everyone, been a while, hope everyone is having a great 2015 so far!!
So I harvested about 3/4 of 2 of the White Widows about 12 days ago and ended up with about 170 grams dry!! Very pleased with considering they were almost left for dead. I still have the biggest plant of them all still finishing up in the tent and I am confident ill get 100 dry grams out of her!!
I'm letting the popcorn buds get some light and fatten up a little from the first 2 plants..I'm overall very pleased and I am having so much fun growing!! Can't wait to bury some new beans ASAP!!
The high is really nice...provides great pain relief and puts a smile on my face. Very sociable on this bud!! Below are some pics...

End of Grow

Finally, my first grow is in the books!! Wow, I learned so much...Started germination all the way back on Oct 12 and planted on the 15th, making it 135 days from sprout to dried buds. The last tree, which I knew was going to be the biggest, was also the plant that was almost left for dead...Ill post a pic of the sick little gal. Cant believe that I almost 86'ed this grow 21 days in! But with the help of all you kind folks, she survived...and boy did she survive!!
So I would like to thank everyone for their kind words, support, and for teaching this noob the ropes! Couple important things I learned from this grow...One is PATIENCE..yes 135 days of patience. (-; Main reason I started w/ Auto's is because they finish in about 60-70 days. So having a huge setback was testing me for sure! Second is keeping things simple. I only used Canna Coco A + B and a little Cal-Mag. That's it, no special bud boosters or root boosters or anything like that.(Not that they are bad, just I like things simple, less things to think about) Lastly is to keep tight logs and pics of your grow. It helps soooo much...you can look back and see what you did there to fix that and so on..
I would like to thank everyone for your knowledgeable help and all of the kind words of encouragement. Can't wait to give back to AFN and help others the way I was so generously helped! THANK YOU ALL!
I just started the germination of 3 AutoMazar's from Dutch Passion. Anyone have any luck with these seeds?
Adding a smoke report tomorrow..
Final Yield of plant 3, the monster=302 grams dry! more than the first 2 combined!
Final yield of all 3=472 grams, a little over a pound of awesomeness!! (-:

Wow Jim, what a crazy ride. I just stumbled across your journal and started reading. What a roller coaster ride and you stuck it out and probably learned a ton. I am so glad you were successful.
I do have one question. What did you ever do about your smell problem? Did you get a new filter?

Thanks all for the kind words....I changed out the filter with a Phresh filter...like night and day AK! Within seconds it smelt...well...Phresh! (; I learned so much...never understood what it means to "dial in" my grow lol, I sure as shit do now!

Just think....If all those things didn't go wrong you wouldn't have learned nearly as much, and those girls sure did get big in the end. So whats next?

Oh, gonna have to get me that phresh filter set up. Thanks for getting back to me on that.

Thanks AK! Yeah man, the filter was key to my stealthyness! The old one masked maybe 1/4 of the stank...the Phresh filter..100%
I can't even begin how my growing problems were really the key to my success...everyone was so willing to help...and you don't have to wait a few days...within minutes I'd have great advice that actually was dead on! (Thanks Blue!)
Next are 3 Auto Mazar's! I hear these are beasts if grown correctly. My only problem I have is I don't have room for all this Ganja! I already ran out of Mason jars!
