Using RO h2o, nutes at 700ppm rubermaid tote, 3 inch net pots, plant in rockwool cube, pot filled in and covering with hydroton, Frabil airstone, and silicone airline tubing. Ph wont stay level more more than a few hours. Driving me nuts. Any suggestions?

You have slime.

You will need to read up on tea, or run out and get some great white it puts a herd of micros in there eating the slime. I have little experience.

I find that when I do a fresh res change that the pH almost always goes up, then i have to adjust it back down. Is the tote isolated well from light, reflective material, black container etc... Did you pH adjust your rockwool cubes? What is your light source?

Ph'd rockwool when seedlings first went in. Tote is wrapped in foil tape, light source is 240 blackstar led. Ph'd nute solution down to 5.7/8 before the swap. It does have some slime I noticed a few days later.

Yup I noticed it kinda in the say the bubbles were coming to the top.

I have some of this:

Oregonism XL
Roots Organics Oregonism XL is a distinctive super-soluble formulation of endo/ecto-mycorrhizae, beneficial bacteria, and Trichoderma. The species of microorganisms in our product are specifically selected for fruiting and flowering plants with a tolerance to heavy fertilizing. Mycorrhizae colonize the root zone, forming a symbiosis with the plant’s roots, massively increasing the size and effective surface area, facilitating greater nutrient uptake, resistance to disease, and increased tolerance to drought. The beneficial bacteria and Trichoderma in this unique product also produce plant and root growth promoting compounds and protect against pathogens. Oregonism XL is incredibly versatile and effective in potting soil and hydroponics.

Should be about the same stuff no?
