Hey got your msg, ill throw my 2 cents in

strains- As i tell everyone trying autos Russian Rocket Fuel and MI5 are mine and many others favorite to grow, and i suggest all auto growers give them a try. But id go for MI5 if i were u, it produces more, the high is perfect, and the Flinstone chewable vitemin pheno (as i call it) is AMAZING.

Lighting- Muddy has it a lil backwards, you dont go by watts per square foot, you go by LUMENS per square foot. because lights dont all produce the same amount of lumens.example a 400w hps puts out 50000 lumens where a 600w is 90000. You need 5000 lumens per minimum, more lumens =more, bigger denser buds. you need a minimum of 210000 lumens in there.

ether get a 1000w if you think you can deal with the heat, one that u can turn down would be best. It will bump u up to 300000 lumens Or just get a good ol 600w hps which would give a bump to 240000 lumens.

Fans- id get a big fan cuz u might need more then 700cm and a 4" intake fan might be a good idea.

plant #'s- Id say 26 auto plants should fit fine in there, but 30 will be tight im guessing but it can be done.

good luck bro

4" exhaust won't be enough. 6" minimum, or 8. Same size or smaller intake as Grindin said. Set your carbon filter, then run to your exhaust fan. As I said before, a 700 cfm fan will turn the whole area over twice a minute. That's more than enough fresh air for the plants, even with a passive intake.

Heat is going to be your biggest challenge. At the least you should have reflectors with glass and duct fittings on the ends, if not the cool tube type. Get as much of that heat out as fast as you can. Run ducting from the carbon filter to the first light, then from that light to the next one, then to your exhaust fan. Pull your exhaust through the filter and hoods before exhausting.

Thinking to do 6" for in air 4" air out and 4" scrubber.... also going to have axial fans going to cool the hoods, Going to mount them to the reflector so that it cools the top and have oscolating fans so that the blubs don't get to hot and think with this way i would be ok... Reason I don't want to use the passive intake is because 30+ auto's need a sufficient amount of fresh air..

also the bat wing reflectors might work good to spread light but think about getting air cooled hoods. you could hook them directly to your exhaust and pull the hot air from the bulbs out of the grow room. in doing that you are also able to keep the lights closer to the tops and get bigger denser flowers

and also per muddy's above statements... def think about some kind of enclosed light fixture for cooling... it makes ALL the dif trust me!!!!!
I had to run exhaust in my room full time before i went enclosed with my 400... when i went enclosed and drafted exhuast through the fixture to cool it... it cut my fan duty cycle to 50% or so... so half on half off.... well worth the investment...

these guys are great pricing and fast shipping excellent service and professional.. :smokebuds:

2500 watts is to much for a standard 20 amp breaker/receptical.

what do you suggest... I think that breaker may be more then it is near the heater, boiler, and every time there's been any issues with breaks that area hasn't given me a problem so far...

Really 4" intake fan - 6" exhaust with a 6" scrubber and a 4" inline for what though... the last part

your suppose to have more exhaust than intake, id do the 4" intake with a 6" exhaust with 6"scrubber.. a 4" inline would bring in pleanty of fresh air for you IMO....

I am dealing with what is on hand but I could get a few and you know what i may.... and go with all 600hps's

got me thinking now because of other posts in here from other members (many thanks) regarding a hps with cooling etc.

Add up the total amps of everything you are using, light, exhaust fan, circulation fan, timer, etc. That total should not exceed 80% of what the breaker is rated for. So the max you can run on a 20 amp breaker is 16 amps. If it's over that you'll need to split your equipment over several circuits.

Find out what is available. A couple dedicated 20 amp 120v circuit would take care of your present plans. I try to keep no more then 1600w on one 20 amp circuit. That gives you a few amps to play with in the future.

Watts/volts=amps

1600w/120v=13.3a

1800w/120v=15a good for three 6's

1800w/240v=7.5a six 600's on this circuit and is what I would/did put in for my lighting load.

Thanks, I am pretty sure the breaker splits and i am able to get about 2-3 20ampers going but positive about 2.

Yup in conjunction to what i wrote up top...

So i am being a little picky now because of my conditions and wants/needs with picking out a 2 solid strains from the same breeder.

Considering:
Lowryder Diesel Ryder Feminized
Lowryder Easy Ryder Feminized
Seedsman Seeds Auto Mini Gun Feminized
All of these are basically originated from Dr. Joint

I keep hearing about MI5 and another strain, in this thread alone its been brought up. I can't seem to find out what anyone is talking about if someone wants to shoot me a pm i would love to see details.

Thank you guys once again, I was on roll it up and it seems like everyone there is either a novice, micro grower's inside of shoe box's, sales rep (being paid to promote) I don't mind it but it misleads me when researching and since i haven't had to research being outdoors i haven't been on the forums much thus my late arrival. I feel here its real talk, plus it seems to me like different breeders have been tested, compared etc.. it gives some re-assurance in changing breeders and picking a strain.

Also you guys should look into securenym (dot) net it is an offshore email hosting company that is assures security to any country and they have encryption heavily... not promoting lol just giving a tip on emails since there being monitored by various countries..
