Indoor Need advice on a hydro setup. (First time grower)

i would caution against growing in aero for your first go around. you simply lack the experience reading plants and in an aero system i've seen people kill there plants before they even had time to post for help. i grew soil for the buffer but i love rockwool now.

This is exactly why I decided to stop lurking and post. I'm getting a lot of great info. And the suggestion to grow the same strain with three different methods is a great idea. I should've came out of the shadows and started posting earlier. thanks for the info everyone. hopefully I should be able to get everything pretty soon to start growing.

I am now convinced that while its around 10-15% more expensive than soil grows, the rockwool method i use is so easy a caveman could do it. watering is a breeze and now that i got more fittings for my flood tables i can just pump in 15-20 gal into a table let it sit for 30 min then drain it out back to my res and then repeat on each table. will be doing this shortly. I fill up smartpots with the smaller loose rockwool cube filler and the roots took it over in under a week. now i only water once every 3-4 days still but i have great growth and no deficiencies so far. If you go to my hydro expo thread in my signature i have a lot of videos of how my hydro developed and how its working so far. i will be shooting a new vid shortly since i need to water soon.
