My little sister is dealing with some serious heath stuff. Cancer and surgeries and all the misery it Intel's. I've decided I'm going to give her my crop until she goes into remission hopefully. The hardest thing right now is she can't hold down food. Zofran and promethazine don't give her relief. She said weed helped the best she now under 100lbs and 5ft4. Would it be better to make her RSO or a edible. Pain and severe nausea is what I want to elviate. I'm clueless though I'm growing all indicas next and I think ill do half cbd strains. But I'm still guessing. Long question short. How to administer marijuana for relief smoke,RSO, edibles? What type of strain is perfered for cancer patients? Any advice would be a blessing and thank you for your time.

It is very important to make sure she gets good sleep, so she should ingest a strong indica somehow.
The simplest method is vape or smoke, and that might be required because of the nausea.
If the nausea can be controlled with vape/smoke, then maybe you can get some strong edibles into her stomach.
Both thc and cbd are thought to have strong anti-cancer properties, so you should use both.

Here's what I recommend:
(1) Strong indica without cbd for night time use. CBD is a mild stimulant, and can harm sleep for some people, but it can promote sleep in others.
She will need to start small, and build up dosage slowly. RSO can be used once tolerance is high enough.
(2) Sativa plus cbd for daytime use.
I get cbd from cwhemp.com
Strain doesn't really matter, but you want the sleepiest indica you can find for night use.
So far there is no scientific proof that cannabis cures cancer, but many testimonials that it does.

Thank you for the advice is rhino Ryder a good choice. I already got one germing. I was doing,1 24 carat,1 rhino Ryder,1 Mohan ram and my 4th slot I was thinking of a cbn heavy one but ill probably grow another rhino Ryder and use it for rso. All she does currently is smoke 400 a oz no name stuff. I can't have her spending that. I thought the rso would be a stronger choice pain wise anyway but I have no first hand experience to go by. I'm just finishing out my first grow so I'm learning as I go. One more question if you can please. Is 151 proof everclear sufficient for rso or 190 and up? The 190 is illegal in my state. Thank you for the help.

I just checked the Fast Buds website, and it says that rhino ryder is a 50-50 indica/sativa hybrid. As such, it won't promote sleep quite as well as an 80-20 (or better) indica dominant strain, but most people will sleep well with it. It also has also bit of cbd. Differences among strains are overblown, and this should work well.

Should've mentioned that Fast Buds makes good stuff, and if you use them in the future, they note whether each strain is "mostly indica," mostly sativa," or "sativa/indica." They also have some high cbd strains.

That's my mistake I thought it was just indicas and ruderalis. Could you recommend any indicas autoflowers worth trying. I'm more concerned with quality as opposed to yield.

If you want to stick with Fast Buds, any of their "mostly indica" strains should work for sleep, and any of the "mostly sativa" high cbd strains are probably best for daytime.

If I were ordering from Fast Buds I'd probably get Fastberry, G-14, LSD-25, Northern Express, or West Coast OG. Their blackberry is supposed to be a very sleepy strain, but I've had 3 seeds fail, and recommend against that. They seem to have only one high cbd strain, CBD crack which should work for daytime use.

Another alternative Growers Choice in CA. Shipping from CA is a breeze, and avoids the customs confiscation that sometimes happens with foreign seed banks. I've used their Critical Purple, and it's very good for sleep. But they don't seem to have any high cbd autos.

Dinafem is my favorite breeder, but they are in europe. I love their sleepy Bubba Kush, and have used it. Their OG Kush CBD auto would be a good day strain.

Dutch Passion is also excellent, and their blueberry and blackberry autos are supposed to be good. They also have several high cbd autos.

I use for medical reasons an my go to an what works for me on days when I need relief is hash (bubble ,oil, shatter )in my case I usually smoke it with flower but when I hurting I need something thats going to hit my body hard so I mix a lot of hash into my bowl problem solved .In terms of hurting an sleep it helps with that I always grow something with a heavy afghanica dose to it I really enjoyed th seeds auto northern hog I liked a lot bomb seeds big bomb auto that was a very frosty an high yielder

@Mac81 well, lemme see. I dealt with a few cancer patients in my day. and its about a rounded treatment with RSO is whats going to be key. but aside from that,as already stated, rest, food and meds with a good PH (see baking soda therapy) will help. also a good edible will help. but moreover ,a heavy indica get the munchies type of strain. or hybrid on the Indie side is also good. and what some have issues with it that they cant smoke. well for a quick relief and appetite stimulant ,smoking seems to be the most effective. either hash, flowers, dabs whatever get you to the hungry area LOL!

and dont forget the PH therapy too,its effective, cheap. . .and it works LOL and helps with the mental positive aspect of being sick, also ,n a GOOD sativa during the day or whenever really for mood enhancement,or going out, movies whatever. mind and body balance and this is the mindset to keep and maintain.

most strains work just get a munchie confirmation on the ones looked at for that.Cinderella 99 works for me on that. Banana Kush or crush isnt bad. peach puree CBD with some hash or keif mixed in so its a blended bowl or vape tube.works well!! Sour Hound will lend to a dinner smoke with a blended bit of the munchie strain (there are several, usually more photo strains IME) from autos to photos.

I would personally do something like a GOOD cheese with a real cheese smell taste and effect. my last cancer patient LOVED it. and something like a grape crinkle. its about pleasure and smells too for the patient. that goes a long way too. enjoy the day and session. the smells n tastes help a lot like an aroma therapy. and for edibles I would ideally make three types. a sative heavy for euphoric dreams and day imo. indie for afternoon evening and harder pain days. and in between with a blend or hybrid.

or take a sour hound a small time early to get that sweet piney yummy and that too is very helpful. can look at raindrop therapy if you can find it. depending on situation and pain levels. hope that helps some. I have delt first hand with a few cancer patients and still tend real medical patients with canna stuffs. and stuff like promethizine and similar canna WITH these helps double whammy and cant hold stuff down longer to get some benefits and uptake from the foods. look at lecethin's ( i prefer sunflower but soy is also good) they also help the bio available aspect of canna meds and good organic food n veggies.. and miracle berries too with help with the metalic taste from chemo too. hard to source but helps tons with the tatse. thats a deep deep issue with that chemo too. so source some miracle berriys to get rid of tjhat with canna and you should be able to eat better or more small amount consistent. anyways I think thats all for now. best of luck my friend.

my advice as a cancer survivor is a heavy indica with high cbd. I went through it all, surgery, chemo, second and third surgery. it did wonders for pain relief, appetite, and sleep.
tell her to FIGHT it at all times.never give up. been cancer free for nine years now. 67 years old. .
