New Grower Need a baby sitter

Never considered your comments disrespectful..:)
Just a general comments in human nature as
many think the same..

Best of luck with the grow.. :)

youve had a couple of grows that didnt quite go to plan :watering: i was a real shit grower untill something clicked  i wish i knew what it was,and id be able to tell you :pass:hpow much biobizz nutes do you have left ? id love to try different nutes......but ive never run out of the 3 bottles at the same time,so never got round to it.
for me i think i just needed a few practice runs :footy: kinda learn what not to do :doh:rather than trying to perfect something i didnt understand :paleo: its like trying to explain to someone "how to learn to ride a bike without falling off" falling off is what teaches us not to fall off again :smoking:

if ya havnt started a new or continued a grow/journal....do it and @ me :pass: hang on this is a journal :baked:
good luck n keep er lit
:pighug:

I think some of the most noted mistakes for all of us when we first start out result, ironically, from enthusiasm...We want to do such a good job and baby our plants that we smother them with love like a child with a new kitten...We over water, over fertilize, put the lights too close to make them grow as fast as possible....and we learn.
We learn the lessons of what plants need, how to identify when a plant has too much /too little of those requirements and how to respond...
The important lesson here is patience.. taking food notes and learning from your experience.

Cheers

Mr Toad

Yeah it just sucks seeing people growing monsters and I'm here messing everything up but like you said it will all make sense in time I will learn but I never had any problems when I was using cfls except for a little light burn as for my nutrients I'm just about out of grow should have enough to finish the berry ryder and the rest are pretty low also

I was thinking of switching to plant magic because I keep reading different things about biobizz things saying u don't need to pH then others saying u need to pH I live in hard water area and I read biobizz is no good

This is how she's looking now

No worries..
You just need to know how to tweak here and there..
Google one of the deficiency blogs out there to identify what your girls need...
Light green, strain dependent, still needs a light bump in nitrogen :)

hard water....makes yer kettle go furry ? tea like dishwater :coffee2: furry kettle = limescale, alkaline and high calcium.
added cal could be to much ?
i try and keep notes/schedule things
blank schedule.JPG
a very rough schedule
schedule walter day 75.JPG

i never adjust my ph,rarely test it :eyebrows: i got a tds pen for £6 had a play with it,never used it since.
biobizz is known to be fairly mild,so takes a bit to burn a plant.
im eejit not a grower,4th opinion,,,but i wouldnt be scared to get an extra 1-2ml/L of grow or 1grow and 1 bloom extra :smoking:
good luck n keep er lit

@MrToad Belive me it's all I do read up on growing but all deficiencys look similar and most of the stuff I read contradicts other articals but I'm getting there it definitely a nitrogen problem I'm upping her feeds now but don't want to push it to far she's currently getting 9ml grow 5ml bloom 2.5ml topmax 2.5ml heaven 5ml calmag I have made a feeding scedual and I have some more Berry ryder seeds so I hope my next Berry ryder grow will be on point

One of the most useful thing I have found lately is this video

@Zamnesia Battle would love a brew no sugar plenty of milk

got the wife a fancy coffee machine for Christmas and it's already had a full descaling the waters bad round her I try to keep notes but I always grow different strains maybe that's part of the problem pick a strain and learn how to get the most from it before jumping onto the next one

But to tackle the hard water I always fill 4 empty milk cartons up with water let the sit around a week then on the morning before I feed them I add a air stone for at least 6 hours I'd love to stick with biobizz it's cheap and cheerful and apparently easy to use lol

Hey man growing different strains and even phenotypes can feed different or handle light different so your concern is valid also scheduled feeding times are great but I've found it hard to say @ wk9 u need 9ml of bloom ect bc each one is different I have also noticed that all my autoflowers have been more nitrogen hungry for longer than the photo plants way I mean is I still feed a good amount almost all the way through I seem to get better yields when I do this. Also as most people said never feel like I can't ask for help that's the point of this and I for one love to give back wat ever I can to this community as long as I'm able like people did for me. Tag me @ anytime I will check in to see how it's going.

The unfortunate problem with premix fertilizer is that it assumes all strains have the same nutrient requirements. Thus when you have to augment individual nutrients it becomes a challenge...
