Greetings friends

So I have been busy working away and figured I ought to start up my first journal here on afn. The Mephisto section seemed to be the right place to do that.
This is my first run in a tent, first grow in five years, first attempt at going all organic.....oh yeah, and first ever autoflower grow.

This grow is five years in the making. It's tough being somewhere that you are unable to grow your own medicine. To say that I am excited to get things rolling is quite an understatement.

So without further adieu I present to the members of AFN aka Vibeland:

Three White Ladies in a hot tub of love!

We have here three different seeds of Walter White lineage, all going together into a 50 gallon container. I am hoping the 15 or so gallons per plant will suffice. I also have some more plans in store for the tent. A few 7 gallon pots for some 3 Bears OG and a few more for Sour Stompers.

I have to give a big thank you to a bunch of members here who have provided me with a wealth of information in a short period of time. @912GreenSkell @Eyes on Fire @hippy71 @Slater @CaptainDave420 @Jraven @Yeatster @White Punk on Dope @Dudeski @NugNoob and a whole bunch of others whose journals and input has been invaluable.

Alright let's get some details outta the way

Setup
8x4x8 vivolux tent, (2) 8" aircooled hoods. One running a 315w cmh and the other a 600w hps (for this grow, replacing with a cob by the end of this run) wit a T5 for veg/extra lighting as needed.

Soil
1:1:1 mix of Compost (locally sourced) peat and aeration which is comprised of 80% pumice 10% biochar 10% black lava sand
amended with Kelp, Alfalfa, Bio Live, Azomite, Neem Cake, Gypsum, Fish Bone Meal, Crab Meal, Oyster Shell Flour. Top dress/mulch layer amended with EWC and some extra neem cake. Also sowing some crimson clover, chamomile, and lemon balm for mulch layer. Threw a handful of red wigglers in there. We'll see how they do.

Currently brewing up a tea with some fresh EWC , malted barley, bactifeed, recharge

Gonna finish up some more soil today for the 7 gallon pots, get some 3BOG and Sour Stompers going. May use some Baby Bu's Soil mix for a few of these just to see how it can perform. Looking to try out a few different recipes for my soil mix as well. I have a couple cubic yards to play with so why not tinker a bit?

I have a window ac I have to install and then finish up the ducting. After that it's smooth sailing.
