"Natures Living Soil" is not very good

Yes yes, annnd Yes. depends on lots of variables. However since these types of soil fizz out around now its a safe bet that it could use a fat dose of most things.and Lime in the top coating(mixed some lime and soil together and wet it,then apply) will help it stay around 7,fight off any acidic types of feeds.it can go above 7 if you add way too much or already have enough which I seriously doubt you do.But Im only taliking a cpl TBspoons mixed with several scoops of soil.Like a half gallon of soil or so.but Im just telling you how I would start to repair it.But I would have prepared vastly different. But you could cruch some granules and put it into that top coating for N and flower.Lots of ways to attack it.

I’m having high ph though, I have to ph my water to 3.2-3.5 to keep it below 7. If I use water that’s not ph”d it will be close to 8! What do you mean fizz out? Thanks for chining in to help

Edit. I solved the issue by flushing the soil with 2/12 gallons of distilled water and the last gallon with half strength Nutes with no adjusted ph of 5.5 in and runoff out was 6.4. Is it possible I added to many microbes from the teas, I was just dumping and not measuring the amount I added to the water or could it have been calcium? Before I flushed ppm was 400, after the flush it’s at 80ppm

Well hopefully that will help with her anyways. Hope all your guys and gals plants are doing ok. Cheers. But here is a pic of the gorilla glue I flushed she’s on day 70 so far does she look behind? Debating if I should flush the gorilla glue to or see how the green crack reacts and just feed non ph botanicare nutrients and maybe the liquid guano here and there.

I dont think you can have too many microbes. Brew your own simple tea with worm castings humus and molasses and a little azomite and water with it.. simple and should be low ppm wise and have little impact aside from inoculating your soil. Also if you top dress now with a high p top dress it should give you a boost in a couple weeks when youll need it. If you can find happy frog dry amendments with high p they are decent..

Will lime make my ph stay at neutral? A guy at the garden store said it can make the ph go above 7? But I also hear ppl say it makes the soil stay at 7

the only thing that will reliably keep your ph stable is a healthy microbe population..im guessing this is why @Eyes on Fire keeps emphasizing aact and top dressing.

YUP! thats why,or mostly why anyways. But if you have a PH issue that doesnt wobble much and stays LOW,or HIGH...thats means there is an imbalance in some manner like a bad Soil additive or water itself,a whole host of things could be at play but the lack of life is a key ingredient along with the foods to FEED the life and help mauintain that balance. there is a several way street that many of these soils miss the mark on.I habve had zero issues thus far with my NLS but I preped it a little because I suspected it would do that.just like the Kind Soil did. potent and fizzled out of foods and life follows shortly after.then the plant has real issues.and never do layering.I always get better performance by mixing the stuff through the entire pot.

and Mushroom compost,Bokashi, castings and flower foods with something like Olys nitrogen compost.fish compost really but has a nice dose of N with the life and add flower stuffs and that'll help.
