I'm not sure how long, I don't use a timer. I just press until I see the flow stop.
I really only do it when trying to dial in a strain.

Me too. I often time a new strain on the press. But once I get a temp down for the consistency I want, I feel like pressing by sight and sound works best for me.

After I get back from the docs, I'm gonna do Knows Candy and Fugue State.
Fugue State should be interesting. It was like a Crystal Palace when I bagged it up!
