Creme da la Chem, Purple Nuggets, Grape Crinkle
Like the title says, 4 CDLCs were planted late last night after a 20 hour soaking in tap water. I'm using red solo cups for germination instead of planting in final pots, because my usual grow space is filled right now. I'm starting these in my 32 x 32 in drying tent under a Solar Extreme 250 and I plan to transplant them in 10 - 14 days to their final 3 gallon pot. I had trouble getting seeds started last grow, so I've decided Ill be happy with 3 out of 4 new babies. If I only get 2 to germ, than I plan to drop 1 more seed, (95% chance it will be Auto Grape Crinkle). Solo cups are doubled, with the inner cup's bottom and slots down the sides removed, which makes for a stress free transition by just planting the whole inner cup. Nutes will be Mega Crop, along with Cal/Mag+, Silica Blast & some SM-90 during seedling stage. I will also be using Recharge, Super-Thrive & Sensizym later in the grow. Plants will be moved to my converted 1/2 bath to grow space as soon as room is available. As I mentioned in the title, CDLC is my favorite strain that I've grown in the last 7 years. For the last 3 yrs it's been a staple in every grow, so hopefully I can get the most out of her! Thanks for stopping by & your welcomed to pull up a char & follow along while I try to get this grow in before it gets too hot! In the mean time, here's a pic of some Purple Nuggets I took a couple days ago! :peace::pass:

So after pondering it over, I decided to drop a single Auto Grape Crinkle bean to at least have a 2 plant grow. If it don't germinate, than Im thinking about trans- planting the single CDLC outside somewhere & let it to it's thing mostly on it's own. I'm thinking since I got approx. 35 zips currently curing, I might as well take an early summer break! :peace: :pass:

Time for some pics along with some good news! 3 days ago I was going to use the coco/perlite out of one of the cups that didn't germinate and I found a seed that had sprouted with the shortest root I've ever seen. I wasn't sure it was going to make it, so I've waited until now to announce her existence. I think I'm going to name her Half-pint, cause she started life so little. She already has her 2nd set of leaves, even tho her 1st leaves look like they are touching the medium. Also, the Grape Crinkle germinated but it had a pretty bad case of the dreaded "helmet head." I successfully removed the outer hull & now we have a 3 plant grow. I'm calling today day 2 for the GC and day 5 for Half-pin. The 1st CDLC, (day 7), was already showing a root hair at the bottom of the solo cup, so I transplanted her to her final home in a 3 gallon fabric pot. I had a bag of CocoLoco by Fox Farm & I decided to grow this round it it. I understand that you treat it like a soil grow, so that will mean less work for me! Here's some pics and thanks for stopping by! :peace: :pass:

I thought I would do an update as the 1st CDLC is not looking as healthy as I'd like. I guess the little tent is getting too hot & pulling out the moisture with the hot air. So even tho the other 2 plants weren't really ready to be transplanted, I did it anyways with the hope of 2 extra fabric pots adding humidity to the grow! Here's a pic of the 1st CDLC.

Next up is the Grape Crinkle. She's kind of bent over from having nutrient solution dripping a little to heavy on her, but I'm sure she will recover.

CDLC#2, (aks Half-Pint), seems to be happy after starting life more less discarded and forgotten about for several days.

Speaking of neglecting plants, would you believe I found what I believe to be another CDLC? Maybe it's just taking longer to germinate seeds after they've been in the fridge? I may be wrong and this might not be a weed plant and if it is, I have my doubts whether it will pull through. So I'll hold off naming her for now.

Not a whole lot happening, I think I got spoiled growing with coco. Still waiting for the pots to dry out after the initial watering in. I've been giving them a couple dropper full, (approx. 20ml), of really light nutrient solution every 3 days, but I'm not really expecting much from this grow. I did get them moved to the old grow shower after chopping a Purple Nugget. I'm much prouder of the PN, here's a pic! :peace: :pass:
