Anyone use myco, mycorrhizae? Any side by side grows to compare yield?
I really want to add this stuff in my soil if yield will be bigger. I already have healthy plants (blabla marketing).

I've never used it, but im just about to. I have some Funky Fungi from BAC, its in the pots as we speak, ready to recieve plants when I get home, ill keep ya posted if you want?

I faithfully use Orca /Great white..... Not because I've actually seen any proven, documented with belts and suspenders comparison grows, but because all available science tell me it works....and I got a whole box full for free, enough to use it liberally for years.... And the last nagging doubt I had was put more or less to rest a few days ago, as I also use neem cake in every pot/grow system https://www.autoflower.org/threads/...growers-best-friend.47977/page-3#post-1450215..... I had lingering concerns about what the neem compounds might do to the myco critters....

As far as comparison grows go, and these are my own less than stringent minimum requirements for accepting the word "comparison" has any meaning at all with plants grown from seeds rather than clones(the pheno type debacle)......

Anythings less in both the active and control groups of XX plants, under the exact same environmental parameters, will indicate

< 5 plants = an inkling
<10 " = a perception
<25 " = a reasonable idea
<50 " = now we're talking
>99 " = we're getting somewhere

This repeated many times = pretty close to being factual knowledge....

All this is based on many trials and comparisons with fruits and flowers over 20 years with reseach Institutes involved from the US, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Chile, etc.....admittedly no cannabis involved , but I've no reason to think testing parameters should be less rigorous for cannabis than other plants.....
Sure, comparative grows are fun but the value of doing it with a few plants in a grow space without completely controlled lab grade environmental parameters is...... ermmmm...... Debatable...... To put it mildly!

Plant Success .

From the Royal Horticultural Society website ...

Mycorrhizas are fungal associations between plant roots and beneficial fungi. The fungi effectively extend the root area of plants and are extremely important to most wild plants, but less significant for garden plants where the use of fertilisers and cultivation disrupts and replaces these associations.

In other words, if you're using amended soil, not much benefit.
However, for the guerilla grower ... gold dust! :toke:

I use RAW microbes. I don't know whether it helps or not, but I do it anyway. The RAW product includes a better selection of microbe species than some other products, which is why I chose it.

I use Pro-Mix HP, which has added mycorrhizae. My plants seem to love it. I've gotten bigger yields in Pro-Mix HP than I did with Fox Farms Happy Frog, FWIW.
