New Grower My very first indoor grow....

Ok, my little ones are not 7 days old (counting from when they broke ground). The RRF's & Mi5's are growing, but the SR's have not broken ground. My 1 Mi5 looks a little sickly as the first 2 leaves kinda look withered.

I watered them today after adjusting my PH. Wow when the say use a "small" amount of PH down they mean a drop or two per gallon.

I took some pics, but I can't get my camera card to download the pics.....

So your SRs have been underground for 7 days but haven't sprouted? If so, it's time to dig them up and see what happened to them. Plants often don't look too pretty in the first week, so hopefully your Mi5 is fine.

Andy, I did that and I could not find anything. I may have just simply missed the seed, but I am gonna look more at them later.

Ya the SR's didn't germ as well as the others did. The tap root was not real long. The taproot was breaking the shell. Maybe I should have let it germ a little more before I stuck it in my Promix.

Hey, it happens sometimes. Some seeds I've germed have gone nuts in the paper towel and then crapped out once planted, and others that were slow to crack end up growing well. You just never know. I've started using a toothpick as a little marker in my soil after spending 20 minutes digging around trying to find one that didn't sprout.

Paper towel methos for me with no issues unless you nip the tap root

I germed them in a shot glass. I was gonna transfer them to a papertowel, but the taproot of the RRF's & Mi5's were long and ready to plant. I noticed the SR's starting to crack and could see the root and I thought they'd be ok.. Oh well...

Nice set up mellow. I was thinking about setting up some kind of rack in the bottom of my tent as well to allow air to get under the smart pot. Did you place drip trays under the rack so that they can catch individual run off, in case you need to check PH or EC?

I just have one tray under it. I am going to make it better and so I can in fact catch the run off to check those things. This is my first grow so I am improving it as I go along.

Pics of the little critters

Not very good pics, but I'll get better ones. The 1st pic you can see the back plant seems stretched and its two leaves are kind of funky!
