New Grower My very first indoor grow....

Ok all, I have started my very first indoor grow. This is my set up:

240W Blackstar LED

36"h x 30"l x18"w Mylar Grow tent

Carbon filter & Exhaust fan hooked in

Small fan for circulation

Heater for the nighttime cold

Got my PH testers, Soil & Water

Got Fox Farm Nutes (Mistakenly bought hydro nutes. I hope this will be OK)

I also have a bag of Nutes that I got at Lowes. I can't remember the name, but Muddy uses the stuff. If I get a couple of females I may try the nutes in some and the Lowes nutes in the others.

Fox Farms OF & Fox Farms HF mixed 50/50

ProMix BX for germination

1 gallon smart pots

I am using the tiered method (Beer cup of Promix with bottom removed and sunk about 3 inches into my 50/50 mix)

I germinated 2 Russian Rocket Fuels, 2 Mi5's & 2 Snowryders on 9/13. The RRF's &
the Mi5's germinated very well. I placed them into my Promix on 9/15. The SR's haven't broken ground yet as they did not sprout as well as the others, but I am hoping that in a day ot two they'll be sprouted. I cut the end off a water bottle and put it over each beer cup to give them some extra protection.

Today, 9/19 I checked and the RRF's and Mi5's have broken ground and are all about 1/2" tall.

My smart pots were very light and dry to the 2nd knuckle so I added a small amout of water to the beer cup and then to my smart pots. I should say to that I built a little frame for the inside of my grow tent to keep my smart pots up off the floor to allow air to circulate under and around them.

So far all seems to be going well. My RH is kinda low about 35%. I put a couple of cups of water inside to hopefully raise my RH. I am still working the bugs out of my temperature as well. It got low last night as I did not have my heater ready and today I bought a nice digital timer. I'll hook my heater up to on Wednesday with the timer to better regulate my inside temp at night.

If all keeps going well, I'll post some pics on Wednesday if I get the chance.

I guess this is the begining of my grow journal...

Got My chair pulled up matey, was thinking of Russian Rocket Fuel with Easy Ryder Grow After My Supersonic Cristal Storm Grow! See how it goes but I have my seat booked here so happy growing!!

Ok, my little ones are 7 days old (counting from when they broke ground). The RRF's & Mi5's are growing, but the SR's have not broken ground. My 1 Mi5 looks a little sickly as the first 2 leaves kinda look withered (I may have had it a little over watered).

I watered them today after adjusting my PH. Wow when the say use a "small" amount of PH down they mean a drop or two per gallon.
