Harvest & Curing My pka doesn't smell like it did before my harvest????

I have been following this thread for the last two weeks >>>>>>>>>>https://www.autoflower.org/f2...-cure-204.html But I must have over dried the plants, while they were hanging to dry. I live in a very warm climate, and like the thread says the drying method can vary depending on what climate you live in.

yeh just trying to figure out if you are but the rh seems like youre still too wet.
hot and dry temps will speed it up anyway, takes me around 5- 7 days till theyre in jars.

im just saying it sounds like your readings are inaccurate, by stabilizing i mean every time you take a reading they need to be sealed for a few hours to get an accurate reading.
that 62 at the start sounds impossible unless it was a really quick reading since its jumped so much. it sounds like they were wet on the inside at that 62 and it just wasnt getting enough time to read that way. jmo anyway
if not what caused the rise?
you said they were at 72, and 73 before adding the packs.

if youve taken out the boveda what do they read at now?

The readings were not inaccurate. What caused the rise was me adding lemon peels to my jars. I put the peels in the jars to raise the moisture levels, because they were SO DRY. I put the peels in the jars for about three hours, until each jar raised to 72, and 73 respectively. Then I took the peels out of the jars, and I put the lids back on my jars, and just waited for my boveda packs to come in the mail today.

TRUST ME DAWG, these buds were crumbling like a bitch. They had very little, to any moisture in the middle of the buds. Thanks for trying to help me anyways. I'll come up with something. Peace.

ah that wasnt mentioned in the thread, 62% just wasnt a bad number sounded like they didnt really need more moisture. the outside of the bud was most likely just dryer than the inside thats what the sealed jars are for. anyway no way for anyone else to tell for sure than you.
just trying to figure out whats going on to help anyway.
good luck. too dry is better than too wet anyway, no mould and youll have something smokable. and lemony
ill leave you to it:thumbs:

Thanks again B!!!! I know, I did not mention the lemon peels, but thanks for being so prompt with my questions, and taking your time to help me!!! :smokebuds:
