my first deep water grow started out fine using stealth pre mix nutrients, ro water, ph 5.8-6,ppm apx 500..then I changed the water couple days later started the usual brown spots..added some cal/mag, aquaflex and some h202 about a cup in 3 gals. of water next day leaves started yellowing and now worse so I changed the water again added cal/mag,aquaflex,a little silica to the mix ph/ppm right where there supposed to be...any suggetions? while I wait for tomorrows site I think the h202 made things worse I probably used too much also I was told it cancels out the aquaflex..when I drained the water I noticed little pieces of (white) roots floating in the water so I strained them out before filling

Hello! Just subbed to this thread too, hopefully someone can help out here!

well as far as reseach here are the answers I find....either too much or too little....nitrogen, calcium, needs cal/mag, too close to lights, flush, needs feeding, over fed, too much water, needs water, add lime, flush, humidity too high, humidity too low, looks like a ph problem, check run off, flush where are your ppms, could be the water, ro water needs cal/mag, looks like leaf burn, could be thrips, gnats, spider mites, root rot, flush, needs boron, copper, add silica, add hydrogen peroxide, flush, use 1/2 nutrients cause they don't need it, increase nutrients cause they eat alot, flush, looks like the cat pissed on it, or looks good mate!, flush, hope I didn't miss anything!...so caution stand back while I take my pick ....mad scientist at work :stir::stir::stir:

I think the next one I'll grow will just be with some mircle grow soil and some bloom when needed with regular ole tap water and see how it goes ...nothing fancy give it the 'kiss' formula keep it simple stupid!
