Gnome Automatics My Journey to ALF#5

Other way, N toxicity. The DutchPro was 5 and the CalMag I was using was the standard 2 so in essence my N number was a 7!!! That and a bit of N sensitivity in the purple girls. That’s why I switched to the NTFG because there was no N, also the bone meal flushes with the NTFG Herculean Harvest and the SLF-100 enzyme pulled the excess salts out and gave the a big Ca boost. I tell ya, I’m getting convinced regarding flushing with these mixes. I also added benes in the form of Recharge and MammothP.
Man I am so bad with smell. 25 years of ciggy-buts killed any olfactory sense I may have been born with. At least that’s 26 years in my past too! (tif your doing the math I started when I was 12.). Anywho strong canna smell, dark somewhat spicy. When squeezed it’s a bit sweet and fruity. Surprisingly not too strong yet, but I also use a lot of carbon filtering in my garden. Their sisters in the outside tent stunk up the basement big time so I expect a big stink any time now.
:smoking:roger that,.... 3-W's did you start with their free sample package? I'm in for doing a run with them when I'm up and running again,...
You're in a true soil, right? Did you do actual flushing? And did you by change get a TDS reading on the run-off? ...That's been my concern about Autopots, particularly with coco, that potential for nute salt build up,...
:yoinks:  oh, mis-spent youth!! :naughtystep:.... aroma sounds like classic ALF, and I think the Amazon chick line carries that,.... not sure the berry pheno's get this size? We'll have to ask FD,... I wanted to ask him more about the hash-bat pheno's too, very narrow build with a strongly dominant main cola,... Someday I want to run those cheek-to-jowl in smaller pots as a sea of dongs-..... a long while back A4 had these amazing Dr. Grinspoon cross he was making into auto's, all had tall, super narrow builds, a lot like hemp in structure, but they made fantastic main colas and some nice side nugg's, albeit stubby,... he could pack them in tight under the light, getting great light penetration, and make some impressive yields for the footprint it took up!

The purple male and purple female f5 ( 2 generations of colored Mom and Dad ) are complete
:pass:

These should be interesting.
 :clapper: :woody: ...loooook at those briquette seeds! Color density is amazing on the bud too... :d5:

@Waira inowe you yet again but this might provide me forgiveness. F4 tested out 2% higher

Sorry it took so long to reply.
Okey dokey. I’d don’t check run off too much these days. I usually do a slurry test. With the DutchPro I haven’t. I know, I know, I’m slacking, sorry, but these girls are doing so well I felt OK not. For reference a slurry test as I do it is a tablespoon of soil from two inches down and kind of dry, mix with equal amount distilled and take pH and TDS reading. I find it to be a lot more accurate for my use. I am using NTFG [HASHTAG]#4[/HASHTAG] soil for this. As far as flushing goes. . . I don’t do plain water flushes anymore. I use a mix of NTFG mostly bone meal and simple sugars. This will bind the salts and flush them out. In case that isn’t effective I also use SLF-100 for that. As for flushing I do it after 8 gallons of DutchPro through the reservoir. That seems to keep the Ca high enough.
I would highly recommend the sample pack. It’s worth it for the Herculean Harvest alone. That’s their liquid bone meal product. If you do be very careful of the Bloom Khaos. It’s nuts. I can hardly keep a handle on it.

:woohoo: :amazon: = strength in numbers! That it's holding this high level of THC is even more important IMO,...+2% is great news, but I figure that's still "margin of error"- :eyebrows:

... right, in Autopots, no r-o checking,... one of the seemingly conflicting things about coco! Always I hear 15-25% r-o in pots, depending on water ppm's, maybe less in drip systems,... here we have literally the opposite with Autopots!
.....flushing vs. "cleansing" vs. actual flushing = ... I haven't run coco in anything yet but a single little cup grow,... soil I don't bother with actual flushing unless there's a damn good reason, I let the leaves do most the talking there,... I do a few days or so of cleanse though, nothing but water, may a couple supp's like that GLN Sweet Candy,.. a good hot of wetting agent water,...
Roger that on the NFTG, thanks 3-W's- :greenthumb: .... when will the Anvils come down? :woohoo1:

I run coco and don’t water till runoff. Also barely do a flush at the end. I’ll rinse the coco and precharge before reuse still with good results. Being cheap it’s hard to water till run off lol I said if problems occur I’ll start :shrug:no issues yet. Must been nutrient companies trying to boost sales by 20%. I’m sure there’s good reason too I just can’t afford too haha.
