A much needed update and i am sorry for the delay its just a busy time of year for me.
I see family too, the cross sections to the leaf are what i look for. The dragon/DC has a very hard defined leaf pattern. The fingers and the grooves all show when shes dom, she has thicker pistils too. Which is not the case here, she is showing more of the bubba pistils here in the expression. I think that is why they are foreign to you. I think you will get a better understanding of them in the future...
I looked for this post and couldnt find it. Id love to see them. They were my fav to grow. All bud easy trim
Thanks @Eclectic Elle i am pushing to get the color deeper and more consistent. I know that the content is good now i want the color consistency too. For the longest time people have complained on the content of colored pot, my last tests came in at 21% thc on the colored females. ITs not 30% or higher but it is an auto that is competing on the market.
Me too mate me too, i have been busier than a one legged ass kicker in an ass kicking contest. Its croptober here in the PNW and we I have been putting in my time at the farm every free second that i get. So between that and the day job and the breeding that i have going on my hands have been tied.
I need to get my ass over and see the thread and catch up. Ill bounce over there sometime either tonight or tomorrow and see what has been crackin.... I know that you are kicking ass over there.
She is down now, and in the cure. I will get harvest pics up once the rest of the lot is done. That way i can get numbers on the amare se500. She was unique and carried the sour berry smell that the selected mother was. Her sister in the same pot had the same smell but was not as hypnotic. Something that i saw in this grow was unique and new. The multi pots seemed to pass terps and hints of color to the sister plants in the pot.
These two had the same thing going on . The lower half and of the larger plant was colored but the upper part remained white. Almost as if the colored girl she shared the pot with passed some of the anthocyanin to her sister just like the above passed the sour berry smell.
Stalk size is common in the genotype, i see it in all of the alf#5 line. I also do use direct fans but the majority share the large stalk size. Good feet for a good yield as you can already see what they can do in the 2 gal pots. Now you see why we are getting 8 footers in 25-30 gal multi pots.
The hedge.....oh the hedge, check the post after this for her results....she comes down friday at 90 days.
F5's mate
The male is going to help the color for sure. The mom on this round was from a darke male and female cross. He will be used in the color F5 making and the mom is just as dark too. So it will be 2 generations of colored male and female making F5 color selection and should lock in the color trait, seeing more colored males and females in my future.
Most of them are finishing around 60-75 days, and they are still yielding in low light hours. So to me i am seeing more of the day neutral trait than anything. Older rudi was stalling as well as lowering yield but the gals that were late season still pushed forward. Looking like christmas trees.
Balanced cross for me ATM.....I See family traits...but at this stage....those pistils are Alien to me....

oh man, what a juicy pair they are! And an straight-up amazing result for size and yield in that size pot-
- the stalks are very beefy, like they were long-term wind exposed... This an object lesson on how multi-potting can work damn well, and produce IYF fat yields, IF you got the game for it! And the size, that's showing up in spades FD,... the LST'ed portable privacy hedge girl is a marvel, looking forward to seeing her in pre-harvest prime-time ripeness!

They are getting there. I want more tric coverage on them. I know what direction i need to go but its going to take time to get there one them. I know it does not translate to potency but the bag appeal and the kick is where its at, at least for my eye. One building block at a time it seems.

Oh...you can tell a lot about a cross on the leaf pattern...
... DC/ALF#3 went over to what I Think of as tropical leaf shape with the horse shoe drip catcher shape in the middle.JEM/ALF#3 being predominantly 5-7 finger....first moves I made were to take her down to 3/5 finger...have a rummage in the genetic pool...
DC intro I rummaged in the 9-11 fingers.
I prefer the higher number selections.
The thicker White pistils were present in Bobby's and Budwider.
I always attribute it to the White line..ie white widow/russian etc...denser colour makes
