Yes, that's why I said I prefer the jewellers loupe. I use 30x magnification, but I'm sure 10 or 20 would also be okay. I think the scopes are okay if you chop off a piece of bud or one of the leaves and place it on the table before looking through the scope. However, that doesn't help much when we need to check the trichs all over the plant. We live and learn in this game, I've wasted a bit of money buying stuff like this

My Northern Lights took ages to turn amber. They're supposed to be a 60-90day strain, but I waited a min of around 110days. However, I do feel the smoke is a little too heavy at times, so I reckon the plant should have been taken down much sooner. Do g13 genetics not show amber?

I think its hit or miss with those scopes, I came across a thread on here last night and they had huge success with one and the pics looked amazing, makes you wanna go strait out and buy one. What i think is happening maybe is that there are few manufactures in china making the same thing but it seem only one does what it say on the tin (like some of the LED grow lights). Now which one to get is a good guess as typically with china copy's no manufactures put there name on. I think its the jewelers loupe to be safe
