@ joe dirt, No PH pen, Will sort that pout ASAP, Yeh JI#2 Has ewnough nutes and stuff for five weeks, Maybe abit too hot for seedlings. Will give it a try and see how it goes. Tomorite is tomato plant nute, Some people swear by it. Thanks for giving me your advice Joe, Will definately have alot to think about now!.

Joe Dirt makes a good point. If you have any problems or nutrient deficiencies, the first thing we'll want to know is what the pH or your soil and nutrients solution are. It's pretty much a must have.

Keep in mind, it's easy to add nutrients but near impossible to take them out of an existing mix. If in doubt, I'd recommend the soil mix with fewer nutrients.

Also, you asked about additional perlite. I would recommend it at about 20 - 25% of total volume.

Thanks everyone, Pleanty of stuff to do before I start the grow, Will pick up JI#1 tomorrow and look for better nutes, A PH pen and some cal/mag on standby. Will Start the grow by friday hopefully. Thanks again for some seriously much needed and well recieved information. I'm off to finish off my grow box
