Lighting My First Grow...Amused to Death

I was using the roots organic buddha grow bloom and trinity and was having some pretty bad deficiency even at full strength and beyond I would recommend getting some stronger nutes my next grow is getting grow more sea grow nutes. I would recommend getting the Dr earth's stuff I used the 555 life top dressed for 2 weeks just giving water and about every 3rd watering some molasses and epsom salts they took off really good then when they started flowering I started top dressing with 572 and watering in some 333 liquid fertilizer from Dr earth in addition to the molasses and epsom salts every now and then

If yiu have like a super soil mix the roots organic line seems to be good maintenence but it seems very under powered as a stand alone line just my thoughts on roots organics

Thanks guys. I needed a little reassurance.
As far as nutes...I've been looking at the Advanced Nutrient and also Earth Juice. I hear AN is good. Any opinions on Earth Juice? I'll look at Dr. Earth too.

Dr Earth and EJ are fine products.ya just gotta use them right with a decent soil and you'll be fine.and for chems AN makes some nice stuff.ive used them and would use them over many others but i dont do chems any more.but would however use either of the others and get a solid harvest with them and a tea or two prior to even using them but thats me. bvut they'll do exceedingly well if used right.ive used all three products lines.not fully but a lot.:Hookah:

I like dr earth myself just can't find everything local but the 333 555 and the 572 work well as EoF said when used right. Not sure if I was using them right but they helped my girls out that's for sure my blue amnesia one of them is almost top heavy with bud so yeah

As noted only reason I'm going to sea grow is being it's easier to in a gallon of water and bam done and now this is summer spring whatever lol I rather be out fishing than spending 45 min watering and mixing nutes for plants

Wow that's surprising, I've never had a problem with them. Although I do use the complete line, I got the player pack for 39.99 complete with everything. Did you pH? Roots will tell you not to pH, only mix your mixture 24 hours in advance for the pH to self regulate.

As a noob, I have pretty much the full line of Fox Farm. I think I would like to simplify this. Lol.

I looked at Dr. Earth and I see what you mean by using them right. I'll have to do a bit more research on this.

Question. Is it okay to turn off the 12" fan in my tent as long as I have the carbon scrubber on with the lower passive intakes open?

I have been battling low humidity since the beginning. It is typically mid 20's to low 30's. I put in a small humidifier which helped get it to the 40's but as soon as I had to turn on my scrubber, the humidity went back to the mid twenties, even with the humidifier on. So I pulled out the humidifier as it wasn't doing squat. I put in a bucket of water and placed a towel in the tent which is wicking water from the bucket. It helped for a few percentages of humidity but not much. Still reviewing my options, I went down and turned off the 12" fan that has been blowing. My humidity has already jumped up 7% in 5 minutes! RH is now 37 and still going up! The temp has not risen and is at 81. Will this be okay or do my girls need the fan on?

also...where is the proper placement for the hygrometer? It is currently in one of the pots sitting on the dirt.

When I out my plants to bed the fan in my tent goes off too I have my lights and fans on a power strip so I just pop em on and off as needed never seen any bad issues come of this however now that my plants are almost done I just turn off the lights to keep them from getting mold on them

I was in the lower 30% range this passed winter and never worried to much about it as long as you keep you're girls wet ish with watering them (not over watering of course) then you should be straight

Circulating fan. My intakes are passive.

Yikes on the RH gauge...it was reading 20's near the plants. If it's lower RH at the canopy.....I'll go raise it and see where I am.

Thanks Namvet and Freedom.

lol.....um yeah...my 'canopy' is a whopping 2" so I set the gauge on the edge of the pot. They're short girls...

I also had my fan on with the lights, all on a power strip. But turning my fan off, gets me more humidity. The scrubber is on now 24/7 but only 1/3 up with a speed control. The temps are not going up which is good.
