New Grower My first grow, all feedback welcome

Mr Camel

First: i am not a specialist. I just did recognized your beginner faulties.:smoking:
Cuz i made them also...
Especially your watering troubles. Thats why i replied in first place. For your next rounds:pass:.

I see new leaves a lot healthier.
Could be that your roots and their development got strangled and drowned ...a lot of invisible but ultra important things are happening in the first weeks in soil.
Nevertheless you are catching up but please stay careful with the feeds and no focus on the misformed or yellowing leaves. Like u said they will never green again. Let them for what they are.
The post of Waira, THE doc around and i dont know who he is and i don t care cuz he seems to be a living cannabible, is right in it like always...that answer u will get is pure gold. So fill in the form like he asked you gently!

Go trough the sticky stuff in the hospital section.
Read your leaves and focus on the new ones. If u think they catch up with some nutes go on but stay at max 50% of what Plagron advises. Stay on it for few weeks.
Last not least:
Careful with playing out your ph range...5.5 is low.
cuz a big fluctuation will give stress and...brown spots too.
I would advise, regarding well my first phrases:2cents: above, level of your running waterings at 6.0 and stay on it till the end. Dont go lower once to get your drop off quickly ok. It will follow 6.0 in few time, but with less stress or stagnation.

So...go on but carefull. With all of it.
Day 28 after germination...that s still the start.
I start counting when the lobs are open...thats my day 1.
So nothing is lost. But...go on carefull without experimenting a lot. Choose your strategy and stick to it. And don t focus on ur dropoff. And reply to Waira in the hospital!:naughtystep::mrgreen:
Good luck.:pop:

Update day 35:

The royal gorilla stoppen growing and is now adding on buds on his tiny body.

Royal cheese and fast eddy made a nice grow, although the cheese is still struggling with yellow areas and necrotic patches.

Played around setting the HPS from 400 to 600W. But the heat is unbearable (88f). Now looking for a led replacement.

Learned a lot this week again. At least I can feel when to water based on pot weight.

Some nice stretch. I m happy to see that you filled in the form in the med section.
Dr Waira, trust his diagnose with blind eyes.
Dont give up. They will yield and you will learn a lot for the next growth.
I don t have enough knowledge to say you this or that. Trial and error.
Grtz and good luck my friend.
I keep watching.:headbang:

Update day 43:

Nothing spectacular happened last week. Royal gorilla keeps adding buds. Royal cheese and Fast eddy their growth stalled and are now in flowering. All in all happy with the progress.

Also the little side project, a northern lights seen in the overview picture, which I started 2 weeks after the others is doing better than the rest. Bigger leaves, better color and smaller pot!

Great to see them flowering. Gorilla is producing a nice main cola!
My NL is going hard now at day 68. Nice oldskool strain.
Good luck and happy growing!

Update day 50:

All are still putting on buds. Not sure whether to already harvest the fast eddy which is at 7 weeks (supplier sheet harvest 8-9 weeks), and has about 50% brown pistils. Also the royal gorilla has more brown than white pistils now. The trichomes look cloudy (not amber).

On the other side the royal cheese has lost a lot of yellow leaves that were falling off, not sure if it was underfed or also already wants to go towards harvest. Seems very early.

All are still getting organic algae bloom from plagron. I read there is no need for flushing when using organic nutrients?

Also the smell in the closet is heavenly.

Apart from that I am starting a super soil cook tomorrow for the next grow.

You should buy a tiny microscope to check several calyxes.
Only way to be sure.
Pistels can brown faster when you touch them also...
A cheap little pocket microscope on batteries is a must have.
Looking good by the way but i can not believe earlier harvests than product sheets mention...normally they advice minimums...just my opinion.

I have a loupe through which the trichomes look mostly cloudy. Can I wait until some have turned amber before harvest? See attached pictures I just took through the loupe.

Amber is more fysical...cloudy is more headhigh.
Check a few places mean calyxes, not only on top of the canopy. And go in the forum for a search on trichomes, riping, timing etc. I see too much white pistels...she will fatten up now.
Hope another one jumps in here!
I would wait longer...
