Dinafem My first grow 2 blue cheese and 2 critical jack from Dinafem

You want to water with the correct pH! Atami joneco light mix has a pH of 6,0 and cannabis in soil is recommended to be watered within the range of 6,2 - 6,9

I was ran out of perlite to make the right mix with my soil as I think Janeco light is not airy enough in my opinion. (Before I got smart pots)
So I added coco coir I had saved for a future experiment to the soil mix to make it more breathable.
My mix is 50% Janeco light mix, 20% biobizz coco coir, 10% worm castings and 10% Perlite.
You think I made a mistake mixing coco coir to my soil?

Not at all, I don't know how hot the worm castings are, but the added coco will make it more breathable as you wanted.

I'll post a picture when I get back down there it good for me to actually print it and put it up with the rest. I smoke a lot so I forget numbers easy specially when I'm constantly going from US and U.K. Systems to my own metric. Really it's been a long time since I did this much math.

On a positive note all 4 seedlings are happy and on their 7 day except the blue Kush that had to replace a super lemon haze that never germinated. Blue Kush is at 5 days

I hope these last few days have not done too much harm as the temp went as low as 10 12 Celsius. Now I got heaters in but it was a shock for sure

Firstly mate thank you for starting this grow diary. I know we have chatted via pm but this way you also get a wealth of information on experience from the AFN community

Those babies look great but I'm concerned about the low temperature levels. With autos you need to get a good root structure down as fast as possible then the focus can go into vegative growth. Also your phone Imo is way to high so that in combination of the cold snaps I think is the issue with the red stems.

Now you have given a good flush I would try and get your ph back in line around 6.0 then you can start to introduce the nutrients back into your feed regime

Again thank you for starting this thread and thank you for the picture update. I'll do my best to help and will be along for the ride :bong:

Until the next update :pass:

All the best

Mark.

Thanks mate, I was concerned as well but heaters is something my electrical bill can not withstand.
I have a tube heater 80w in the flower tent but I also got a micro 500w ceramic heater in the veg tent
Just did not want it kicking in when lights are on, so I set the LED to full spectrum and that keeps the tent warm enough during lights on.
I have a minimum of 22 now during dark periods.
And I did some LST to the blue cheese and they bent 90 in a few hours so I'm confident they are ok
