This is my first grow and the plants suffered for it...
The tools:
400w HPS/MH 600wHPS multi watt ballast so 3 lamps one ballast and cooled reflector.
In a 1x1x2m tent
Carbon scrubbing and swing fan.
Tent in constant negative pressure.
Used Janeco light mix soil and added another 10% perlite in 7l pots.

Now the mistakes.
To start my tap water is 60ppm but 7,7 to 8 pH.
So after a week of this water they started to give out the first signs of trouble.
Flushed them all and since they were still in veg I used the opportunity to transplant them all to 9 liter pots, but 1.
Wanted to compare the transplanted ones after the stress to have some idea of how stunned and for how long. And although the one on 7 liters did out perform the others for a bit and even flowered sooner, the other 3 quickly cached up and I feel the one on the 7l is now root bound and may be out performed by the rest.
At around 30 days I get strange spots and color on the leafs.
CalMag deficiency is declared the culprit and here the 60ppm water might have helped.
Fixed that with some misting and about 2ml with every feed.

And now I got an new tent were I intend to grow another 4 plants up to early flower under a 600w viparspectra Led. Hoping by then these will be done and the 600w Hps free for some more flowering.
My idea is to get to a point were I'll always have some proper smoke at home and never have to buy again.
These are 2 Dinafem seeds as well. One Critical +2.0 and one Blue Kush and then 2 Humbolt seeds. One blue dream and one OG Kush.

Getting the stem on my plants very red and I don't know if it's P deficiency or genetics.
Does P deficiency show first in stems and after come brown spots?

The first picture I'd from the blue cheese and second from critical jack.
@Dinafem-Mark maybe you can help me?

I took a look at some pics of the blue cheese and they seem to have red stems as part of the genetics (red stems, no spots). I'm not sure with critical jack, all pictures show nice green stems.

Here is a close up of the Critical Jack stems they pretty much all look like this.

The Blue Cheese red is a lot more intense.
I though that if my pH tap going in is 7,8 to 8,0 and is coming out at 6,1 then my soil has to be very very acidic and therefore causing nute lock.
Does my reasoning make sense?

So I decided to give them all a nice flush with tap water. 7,7 pH 60ppm
(Installing a RO system as soon as I can figure up the instructions)
But I used 5 liters of RO water in each for the last flush in each.
Waited 5h and gave them all a 600ppm feed at 6,5pH.
The drain was showing 120ppm and 6,4pH.
This morning I felt so bad for the treatment they got after my weekend away I change the lamp to 600w from the 400w and I'm leaving them basking for a week and finish at 600Super Lumen (660w)

You want to water with the correct pH! Atami joneco light mix has a pH of 6,0 and cannabis in soil is recommended to be watered within the range of 6,2 - 6,9

hey dude
nice setup ,
btw for red stem , maybe u can try to add some cal/mag feed ?
and for sure, bad ph can be a serious issue
good luck for with ur grow

Thanks for helping, I started adding 1ml cal-mag a 2 weeks ago as they started to show deficiencies in that sense and my tap is only 60ppm. So I was advised to do fed them cal mag
Have not had any more issues in that sense since.
Did have to reduce my Grow feed by half as the cal mag is 4-0-0
