I have one swiss cheese autoflower in a root spa DWC bucket and 4 photoperiod plants all planted just about the same time the auto is on day 4 and when I woke up this morning I checked the basket and roots made there way through the clay pellets and into the bucket so I gave her some nutrients I'm using the flora recipe for success on this auto the ppm is at 260PPM pH is at 5.9 looking good so far would love some onsite from DWC growers that have grown autos

Hello @Thattallguy ! Welcome to the AFN ! My name is Tetra9 and I LOVE growing Big Auto's in DWC. I just recently grew my first 5 gallon and reaped over a half pound of the sticky icky ! Sounds like you did your homework to me, PPM and PH is good - depending on what your using I suggest 1/4 - 1/2 strength nutes for now until you get 3-4 nodes of growth.
During my DWC journey I learned a few things that may be helpful to you. First off, your PH will rise and fall regardless of what it was when you added it to your bucket - so it's helpful to check them often. I was also surprised to find empty buckets. You fill a bucket up and get it set, and in 24 -48 hrs it has less than half a gallon in it! They do get big ! Two more things if I may - do not let your PH probe dry out, make sure it's quality because guys on here have lost lots of plants to crappy PH meters - and they do finish a little faster but by days not a week or anything. As a final thought, maybe consider reporting this post (bottom left corner) and asking an admin in your report to move your thread to the Introductions or DWC - you certainly don't have to - but I suspect you'll get more activity there.

Thanks ! I love it, pretty convenient. Thanks for the rep ! Glad you answered, last time we spoke I suggested GH Root Accelerator and I just found out they currently aligned and are now in cahoots with Monsanto. Not sure where you fall on that issue but thought I should mention it.
You are welcome Tetra9 wish I had more to give that thing once again is just amazing,I love the mobility and it is clean as hell(which I love,too many sloppy growers) and it just keeps things in order. I just looked Monsato up on wiki and and not really a fan of a mega company that made Agent Orange and then comes up with round up and produces chemicals of that sort. They are involved in international lawsuits and are just another greedy backstabbing corporation that will put things out there regardless of harm to living things. Wouldn't purchase anything they have their fingers in. Stuff like this can get a person riled up.

Ya I heard they merged with General Hydroponics so guess I am done with GH products for good. Too bad they ruined a good company.
That they did and that's the bad thing when you get companies like that with tons of money they can ruin years of good product in a matter of months. I used Flora Nova grow and bloom back in 2009 and it was great those nutrients brought back many dead looking clones.
