Lighting My First AF grow, Think Different under LED

Day 16: (from seed soak) Here are the lil ones in real color :D one slight issue today have noticed slight curling up, a cupping, at a guess, i think that I may have lowered the lights a bit early, so water loss/ heat stress, have moved the lights up 3inches to see if this is enough to relive the stress.

how high are your lights?

Started at 30 Inches. Then they where at 22 inches, now at 25 inches.

Just got this from J TaNg's "GROWNORTHERN The Manual."

LIGHT HEIGHTS FOR MS004 and MS006.

Seedling to day 7 - 30 inches.

Day 7 to start of stretch - 24 inches.

Stretch phase - 18 inches.

Flower phase - 18 to 12 inches.

to be honnest, my scilent fan makes more noise than the lights, Grownorthen have made some lovely units. I would assume the 04 model was built to a similar standard, J TaNg has some. he would also be a good one to ask. The noise you get is the same as out of a pc fan.

thanks GP - appreciate the reply.

Did you go to their shop? Its not far from me - wondered how helpful they were.

No I dealt via e-mail and phone. Ordered the lights online. They seemed to be very helpful. I would recommend them.

Day 18: (from seed soak) Well after the near serious problem with heat stress, they all seem to have settled again, and seem really happy. Due to have their first feed tomorrow at 1/4 strength.

nicely recovered m8, looking good and healthy - are those the final pots or are you going to transplant?

more LED questions if you dont mind :)

what are the temps in there? what is the ambient temp of the room the grow area is in? and what fan have you got and is it on constant full/slowed down etc..? sorry just wondering what sort of heat the LED's put out - my grow box is in the Garage in a northern area of UK so hence ambient temperature varies hour to hour :)

hey nillan welcome to afn! u had a thread in the micro growing section on grasscity eh? if yes, i watched your northern light grow journal:smokebuds: a couple of months ago. she looked great! i was growing a blue himalaya in a pc that time and i had a journal on that forum too hehe. :peace:

hi sofa, and thanks - I am growing superskunk auto (the cup winner one) in the same grow box at the minute; had a few problems early on as it is a strain that didnt take well to LSTing (I know its 50/50 for autoflowers anyway).

so I got the taste for self sufficiency and decided to build a bigger grow box so can maximize the yield, but need to keep stealth and hence silent as possible - hence all the cheeky question to gp on his lights :)
