That's a hard question to answer with the quality autos that are available now. I know commercial growers that get very large yields from there photo plants. Again, I think it comes down to genetics and experience. For example, I can run the same seeds, use the same nutrients, and same schedule and never have I gotten close to matching @TaNgs results. His experience and the way he can see what his plants need are the big difference I think. This just comes with time. Remember, there is no rule that says you have to just run photo or auto. Run both and see what you prefer. Your autos will finish sooner, but your photos may yield more. I think the only thing you would have to remember is that auto's can be nutrient sensitive so you will feed them differently than your photo.
