My Bud Explosion just arrived and I have a feeding chart question.

Does any know how many ppmsb1/4 teaspoon is???

I mix calmag first then base(MC) then additives (SC. And BE) then ph adjust @Jonny Sparksalot
Does it matter after calmag which order you go? I always did MC last so I could see in if all was dissolved. Only reason but I would do if makes a difference lol.

At this time I'm using r/o and I mix the MC. First to help with the buffering

@Sir Chiefs a Lot1 I know you said you didnt want a scale around, I assume so someone doesn't see and ask what it's for lol. But weighing is far more accurate than measuring. You can get a kitchen digital scale and use that. Just some food for thought bud.

Yes they are
I use a digital kitchen scale, plus the weighting plate is way bigger too !
But I mix small amounts for a small garden ( gallon or less)
Weighing is a pain for me
I weigh usually one time, and that's to find out how many ppms are in the gram I am weighing
Then I just do ppms from there on out.
But to be honest a smaller grower can usually use spoon measurements if they are not pushing their crops.
If your running low ppms a little over is no biggie
But if push max ppms, aa scale or ppm meter is mandatory
( mandatory is a strong word " suggested" is better...)for your running on the razors edge.

Ok, cool. I make 1 gal at a time, I use Sunny D containers nice with handle. I dont check ppms unless something is wrong lol.

Just got my bud explosion today
FYI.....
1 level DASH spoon of BE= 87 ppm
1 gram BE = 150 ppm
So a rounded DASH spoon of BE will get you in the ball park
This stuff is concentrated!!!!
I've been mixing a gallon at a time for years ( different nutrient lines)
I would recommend going on the zon or da bay and picking up a Dash, Pinch, and smigen metal measuring spoon set to go with your normal measuring spoon set ( get metal )
These made my life so much easier and they are cheap too!!
Of course you'll have to do some initial calculations of which spoon per gallon but after that easy Peasy....

I weigh out in grams so wouldnt use it, but someone that doesn't have a scale may want them. Maybe do up a chart for equivalents post on here.
