New Grower MY BUD DOESNT SMELL THE SAME

Afn, i'm having trouble with the smell of my bud. It does not smell like it did when it was growing(sweet fruity smell)i've cured it and it still smells like fresh cut grass. What i'm i doing wrong ?helppppppppppppp.

Did you give a good flush?

Did you harvest when lights were on?

Did you trim all of the leaf off of your buds?

My guess is that you dried it too fast. I've done that before and it never regained the skunky smell. How long has it been curing?

well most weed has different smell / taste (slighl;ty at least) after cure... but fresh cut grass sounds like too wet to early for cure.... is it moldy ? or just a different smell?

thanks everyone for the info. i think it dried too fast. it still smokes great and taste wonderful. the smell comes out when you smoke it.

my first harvest this happened to me, after a few long weeks in the jars and ruffling the buds everyday to get the smell out then sealing it back off, i managed to get the smell back, also once you know its good and dry storing it in larger amounts helps with the bud stinking, not just when you crack it open
