Thanks TX appreciate it! I am working with lighting now, using two flashes for some drama and a bit more separation and punch. I forgot how much fun this photography stuff was. Man the digital stuff is the shit! Last time I did anything with this stuff it was with film!! Matter of fact I came across some polaroids of me and my grow from 1979!! Oh man!! Talk about ancient history. I'll scan them then we'll all have a good laugh!

SO, the garden. I am convinced now that Bubba Kush is a really a bubba and not a bubbette, so like a steam locomotive, rolling down the track, he's gone!! Sad day at the grow. The girls are looking great, have some pics as usual. Today I added a 6inch 400cfm inline fan. Man that thing is a beast! But having it draw through the carbon filter, not a hint of odor. I think I am going to need a controller though it is a bit too much. I am going to connect it to the timer with the lights, that way only the little duct fan will be on when the lights are off. I am nervous about temps.
So here they are.

BDM looking truly awesome here with explosive growth. Used two flashes to give it some depth and drama! What do you think? I like it!

CC Nice shot, not as close up but pretty I think.

Gorgeous plants, fantastic photography, and overall exceptional journal. Top notch on all fronts

Good idea on the fan controller, but I would hesitate to hook it up to the timer. You know your room better than I do, but I wouldn't dim the fan too much at night, unless your humidity is REALLY low. I know you said you turned your humidifier off, but just throwing it out there. Humidity rises at night, and pockets of stagnant moist air could be deadly to those gems you have on your hands. From my experience this winter, these autos are unbelievably tolerant to the cold. It actually brings out the colors more on the strains I'm running.

Anyway, keep it up. Poised for a flawless victory.

Absolutely stunning photography my friend! :tiphat:

I concur with ScatterBrayne on keeping your air exchange going 24/7. The plants actually 'breath' more during their dark cycle than when the lights are on, so go head and keep your exhaust fan going all the time, rather than hooking it up to the timer. I also have a six inch fan in my 4'x4' tent, and have a speed controller set on the lowest setting, but then again I am only running T5 lights in there.

What I ended up doing to maintain temps at night was to get a small ceramic heater and hooked up to a good thermostat with a outlet for heating or cooling devices. Kind of spendy, but well worth the money in my opinion. I am actually using one in my new grow room as well. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000E7NYY8/ref=oh_details_o02_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Sorry to hear about 'Bubba'. That is the one big disadvantage concerning using M/F Photo seeds. But many of the nice strains do not come in fems.

Keep up the great work bro!

Hey thanks ever so much man. Appreciate the input and the love!
I guess I was not clear as I thought I was... Sorry. The 400 cfm inline is in addition to what is already in place. I have a 6 inch carbon filter with a duct "booster" type of inline for tent exhaust and two 6inch clipons for circulation. The booster and clip ons run 24/7. There is also a thermostat controlled heater in the tent, one of those oil filled radiator types. The wife was complaining of odor when I opened the tent to work on stuff and sometimes even just being there. I figured not enough negative pressure inside the tent was letting odor out. That's why I added the big fan. Like I said it's a bit too big, so I need a controller. Now it is on a timer so it runs when folks are up and about. I don't want to run it when I cannot monitor. The temps at home go low when no one is here and at night 40 -50 F.

Edit: 7:20 AM Forgot to check pot weight, they were light! Watered each with 1.3liter aftw with 4.9ml/gal CaMg+ Checked temp, big fan brought temp to 74, that's 6 degree down, heater is on now. Need to find balance if only to save electric $$$

Yea, I have found it more tricky keeping the perfect indoor environment in a tent or grow cab than in a large grow room.

Are you just using a passive inline exhaust i.e. one of your lower intakes in your tent to bring fresh air in?

I tried using the 6" inline fan booster for an active intake fan, but it was way too much, but it is working great in my grow room.

By the way your girls look extremely healthy.

:peace:

Wow dude, this really is a journey ! :crap:
Do you have any sugar left in the house ? Cuz it seems that it`s all on the buds
If this is really your 1st grow, i can truly say you have this in your blood !
Congrats

WWWillie,

It is a fair effort. I would give ya 4/10. Not bad for a newbie. As for the photo/camera work 5/10. Could do better.
Must try harder.
Among all the happy slapping a little truth must prevail. Oh bugger it !
I'm jealous. I admit it. Can you come to my patch and grow my weed for me. It kills me to say it, but you da man.
First time ? Come on. Can't be that good for a fist timer. Can ya?
Whats yer camera setup pal?

eP.

Lol yea i did the math for 24 cfls running 20 hours a day (forgot that its by Kw) i thought it would be like 400 dolllars, i almost panicked and soiled myself. Gotta keep on those numbers. I have to work on the negative pressure but i have a lot of leak points. sounds like your about perfect. Good luck once again

epenguin,
dude your lame, if you are going to criticize at least help why 4/10 and why a 5/10, or is it your opinion.
