Indoor Mutation in a closet

Hello, so firstly I’d like to say first time threader, long time reader.. Thanks for having me and also thanks for the knowledge shared from growers on this network.. You might not know it but your first hand accounts of growing and knowledge passed on for free.. Really does help a lot of ppl.. Ppl who might not voice or use a platform such as this to share their own thoughts or experiences in this ostracized field of knowledge we thank you.. You know who you are, you might not be as AFN famous as TaNg or Vlad, or many others but someone out there is using what you shared like I did..

I usually only grow nirvana genetics but have dabbled with some Canadian seed banks..

Previous strains grown out are

Blue mystic, Amnesia haze, bubblicious, jock, Short Ryder and a few regs like ppp, raspberry cough but I have been mainly autos for about five years now..

So onto the current grow..

-Lemon OG Haze from Nirvana


OF soil, 5g airpot,300w LED

Seed in soil 6 days ago, usually this strain and most of my autos are AGL at around 4/5 days.. This one is very slow and very small compared to most autos I’ve grown.. I was almost ready to start incrementaly removing layers of dirt to see if the seed popped.. After a week I usually do so and replace with new bean.. This happens to about 1 in 10 seeds from Nirvana that I’ve purchased.. A lot more common in my soil than dwc grows. So today I was very relieved to see this tiny girl poking out.. And very intrigued to see this mutation.. Looks to me to be a tri-leaf.. So I figured I’d share this one and not keep it to myself..

So today is day 1 and usually takes 10 weeks for this strain..

So day four,

I have a few reeferviews I’d like to share today.. Seems my mutant is doing ok,, maybe a bit small for day four.. Very very short no stretch at all seems.. Raised the lights a few inches and normal watering..

Older sister just went into jars today.. love it when the buds are so sticky they cling to the glass upside down.. Funk fills every inch of airspace in this room..

Ive grown out a handful of nirvana beans over the years. They have great shipping!
Ive had 1 trifoliate in my garden, a six shooter from fastbuds. It didnt get real big but to this day it was by far the most lemony floor cleaner tasting shit ever!!! The flavor and buzz was so strong when fresh some ppl wouldn't smoke it until after a long cure cause they thought it was chemically adulterous . i grow all organic so i knew better. If i had it again id cross it w something, it was a keeper!!!

I love their shipping speed and stealth.. Never had any issue with them at all and I’m kinda loyal to a fault that way.. Only problem I’ve had was throwing one order away while thinking who sent me a goofy post card from Holland?.. lol yep I was a garbage picker that day..

So yeah I still get a kick outta coming home and checking in on my ladies.. This latest one is my first mutant ever.. And to see this triangle shaped seedling is very new to me.. I’m digging it but she might be a little slow.. Usually by week one I can throw in some more soil to make my bowl and then throw in some hydroton.. But She must be half week or more from that point now.. She is sitting very low still, maybe only an inch tall.. Leds are 18”s away already..

So early day nine, all is well with the mutant.. She grew enough height I could make a little bowl of soil and add some LECA.. I always use the hydroton on the bottom and top of these airpots.. Use it on top of all my soil just because it helps contain all the media disruption and I also read somewhere they act as nute catchers.. Next watering I will be adding 1/4 strength 3 part and some more cal mag and rapid start..
