Hi all, first own post here, so be gentle with me, I'm all new and stuff ;-)

Is anyone else here using multi chamber tents, any tips would be appreciated, I'm still a bit of a novice myself, only around a year of experience so far, but learning (the hard way sometimes) along the way.

I'm using a Secret Jardin Lodge 160. I recently upgraded from the 120 model, which is a huge improvement, especially on the height, 145 cm to 205 cm gives room for some more serious grows.

Right now I have it set up so that my main chamber (120x120x205 cm) is for my photos and running 12/12. My two other chambers both running 24/0, and the plan is to keep perhaps 3 medium size plants in the top medium (120x40x120 cm) chamber, of which two will be autoflowering, and one will be a vegging photo strain. The smallest bottom chamber (120x40x85 cm) I plan on using for germination, pre-vegging, cloning and also doing a short auto strain as well, just to fill out the space, I really love doing many different strains and setups just to experiment, yield is not as important for me as learning right now, as long as I can just supply for my own need I am more than happy.

I plan on a one month rotation, each month moving one photo and one auto from the small to the medium chamber, and moving the one month old photo from the medium chamber to main one.

That should provide me with a monthly harvest of one (hopefully huge) photo strain from the main chamber, and one medium auto from the medium chamber; as well as something like a bi-monthly from the short auto in the smallest chamber.

There is plenty of space for both seedlings and any vegging of all the plants up to 30-40 cm in the smallest chamber.

Got a picture of both my old and new tent, for comparison ;-)

Any tips on how to optimize my grow cycle, or if you feel like showing your own multi-chamber grow skills, shoot away! ;-)

Yeah, I was so impressed by the smaller model that I had to go out and get the bigger one when that became available, which it wasn't initially. I really wondered about this, because 145 cm as max height seems silly considering it is a tent with separate chambers, so obviously it would usually be used at least partially for photos, which tend to be a big bigger than autos.

As for the exhaust, I considered using a dual system, but decided against it in the end, especially as two fans drawing from each end of the tent would be at least partially working against each other. To increase airflow, I instead connected the chambers with standard ducting. This provides enough of a flow from the smaller chambers to the bigger chamber, where I have the exhaust fan placed and pumping air out. Currently I'm using a 125mm fan, which is enough power to keep things at an acceptable temperature.
